I really appreciate the fact that Daniel Craig has portrayed his role as 007, but unlike the previous bonds, he actually shows sweat and grime after his fights and action scenes
Dalton and Connery (early on) showed quite a lot of sweat and grime in their fights. Even Brosnan and Moore did at times.

Next is Skyfall, Spectre, and no time to die
Next up in the Craig 007 series is *SKYFALL* - me and my Pops' favorite Craig-Bond film and our very first Bond film in cinemas. We need the Skyfall reaction ASAP. 😉
My favorite part of this whole movie is the chase at the beginning. I like the music. I like the way James broke his car's door off to break loose from that truck. But most of all, I liked seeing a 007 chase without hidden weapons/devices in James' car.
I hope you ladies go through the Craig era, it’s insane to think but you could really breakdown the good and not so good aspects of the James Bond series in his film bc they all have Easter eggs to the previous films. His series like “On her majesty’s secret service” sets precedent, nearly every film, this film is the first Bond film to be a direct sequel, all have been stand alone to this point. The film has its flaws, I quite like it for that, the villain isn’t a traditional bond heavy. He, like Le’chirfe (sp) is an underling who can’t fight-which feels real when he does, he freaks out and goes full panic-mode/Tasmanian devil lol I think the thing I appreciate the most is that both Bond and Camille are both people dealing with trauma seeking closure. Their relationship isn’t sexual, it’s more than that(a first for the series).
Vesper’s ex in this is a Mandolorian who serves Bo-Karan in season 2 of the Mandolorian. The actress with him, was on that show “Castle”
Fun fact the woman he is with in this movie Camille played Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster in Black Widow. Olga ages like fiiiine wine!

I think this film is the weakest of the Craig films, but despite it's issues I don't think it's quite as bad as everyone makes it out to be. One important thing to point out is that they went into filming without a fully completed and fleshed out script due to the writer's strike in 2007-08. There were even points where he and the director were coming up with lines on the spot. Daniel Craig has said himself that he'll never go into a film without a completed script ever again after the experience he had shooting Quantum.

After your done with these movies you should go and watch some of the older movies.
This was the first Bond movie I saw in theaters. Though I have to say it's one of the weakest Bond films. It's just way too grounded for a Bond movie. Plus, Dominic Greene was a very unintimidating villain. Then again, after Casino Royale, the films had officially run out of source materials.
Do you think you could at some point watch the classic movies starting with Sean Connery?
I used to think the same about this movie, but I enjoyed it a lot more on my last rewatch. It's far from perfect, but not near my bottom anymore.
Would love it, if they were to react to the "classic" era Bond films, though.

This movie received a lot of criticisms when it came out for its rushed productions and quick cuts. There was a writer's strike at the time. This movie is definitely not as bad as people remember. Is it as good as Casino Royale? No but is better than Die Another Day? Yes
If i would have to pick one movie to watch with Connery, i would watch From Russia With Love ;)

While there was some very poor editing and camera work, I think the biggest fault is Greene being a really lame villain. While a better villain wouldn't make the movie perfect, it would make it more fun.

This is one of the worst Bond movies in the series, unfortunately. The editing and camera work (especially during the action scenes) is confusing and difficult to follow.
I would recommend going back and watching some of the older Bond films, there are lots of classics to enjoy and it will give you more appreciation for some of the homages they put in the newer movies (like Bond's car, which first appeared all the way back in the 1960s).
This movie is the worse of the Daniel Craig era of Bond movies.
That goodness Skyfall is better than this garbage film.
