Yair was way more free with his words during his media-day interview. I think he's genuinely pissed at some of the thing Ilia has said about him, but he's also spicing it up a bit to try and get the fight.

Volks greatest ability is his ground and pound and the way he postures in full guard on top. Hes gotten away from attempting to get that position in last 3 fights except for last 30 sec of 5th round vs Islam.
