The field guide sounds really good. I’m lucky that I have a friendly local doctor- this week I saw him for a prescription for some serious pain killers and some antibiotics. My existing stuff was out of date. He knows what I do for a job and is willing to prescribe for me so that I can augment a standard first aid kit so that it’s fit for purpose. Something like that kit you show would also be useful aboard a boat. I also have a copy of an old book “When there is no doctor” which is intended to help people on expeditions. Like that field guide, it’s a bit too heavy to pack in a rucksack though. What we really need is some small laminated or waterproof cards that we can tuck in a first aid kit. I’d buy those.

Thanks for the video. It is a bit difficult to tell on their website exactly what you get in the basic $350 package, I was wondering specifically about quantity of each antibiotic. Could you let us know the amount of pills and dosage included with your kit? I was wondering if the meds provided cover just one instance for each antibiotic, or if there is enough for a few separate cases? Thanks

It goes up considerably with additional meds. Base price with coupon is $299. With all options it can exceed $1000. The physician consult is good and they will suggest what you need. You can opt out of the additional meds if necessary. Jasemedical unit is $259.
Does anyone know if such a thing exist for dogs? My dogs are my family and I would want to be able to prepare to treat them as well as myself off the grid. Thank you for anyone who has some insight!

Well crap that sucks for now but I know they will eventually have this available to every state. It has grown considerably since we first spoke a couple of months ago.
This place is a ripoff. They have the standard items they don't tell you about that you cannot swap out which is ridiculous. So everything you want is an add on. My total to add a few items (epi pen was huge cost) was going to be almost $2000. I said forget it and canceled. It looks like you create your own kit and that original price is like a base but it isn't. If I'm paying for it I pick what I want. Otherwise forget it.

I have been happy with the products however, It might be worth your time to look into Jase Medical as well, jasemedical.com/?rfsn=6816181.b95d69 I believe their kits are in the $350 range for just antibiotics. I do know epi pens are outrageous no matter where you get them. Our daughter has had to carry one most of her life. Either way thanks for watching.

Great question but you should contact Duration Health for those questions. Each one is done on a case by case basis.
@@NatureReliance I did some more digging around on their website, and they state the antibiotics are for a typical single course of treatment.

I have not heard of such a company but talk to your vet. Maybe there is. Our dogs are part of the family for sure!
