Much better to cut long strips of the turf then rap the perch so you can use a screw at each end no zip ties needed. Make sure the screws end up on the bottom side of perch. My imprint will pick at the zip tie all day. Plus remember Murphy's law could get its mandible caught on the zip tie or a talon. But that's my 2 cents worth. I have had it happen before.
