Even as a total newcomer, I can see how brilliant and under-stated this man is.
I just used this tutorial to create a self-portrait and the tutorial is beyond amazing - super detailed and very easy to follow. Love it.
His Attention to detail is AMAZING!! I myself am trying to make vector portraits and hopefully earn commissions to fund for my college tuition
good luck, all the best for you
@@ZakeyDesign Thank You, You Too!
Had no idea Inkscape could do this, thank you for posting, subscribed.
Bro just made a 26 min video more helpful than my 3 month graphic design course
Thank you for this. I am a bit overwhelmed with all the info but I am also excited to learn.
Thank you very much! I just created a portrait of mine by using most of this video and it turned out pretty good.
i have seen it. great work!
A great demonstration and step by step of what Inkscape can do. Will have to check out the other videos on your channel. You can remove stroke if the shape is still selected by clicking on none in the lower colour pallet while holding shift. ( None being the white box with the X in it located in the lower left corner
thank you for the tips!
Thank you for providing this tutorial free of cost :-) you are doing a great service to Inkscape users
I don't understand how videos as good as these have so few likes great videos congratulations👏
legend👍. thank you.
Super, helpful video.

Great detailed tutorial which highlights Inkscapes vector graphics capabilities and shows what you can achieve without bitmap raster graphics. Well done Zakey design for a superb tutorial. Like you say ...lets never stop learning.

Superb. It was really helpful. I learnt a lot from this video. I have gone through many videos who doesn't explain the steps clearly and it was difficult for me to follow through as I am a newbie to Inkscape. Thanks a ton.

Those rounded corners!!!! Love the work...going to use for a lot of references. Got my subscription!
Great tutorial, thanks!
this is so helpful. thank you
Excellent Sir
I did not like this video the first time I saw it. Coz I wanted to keep it a secret LOL. But then, this man deserves it. His pronunciation does not really matter here (although it could be a bit better). I became an inkscape pro from a noob, using this one video. Absolutely awesome content. CZcams needs more work like this.
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you so much!
thanks a lot, man this was really helpful

Nice video dude, i love it!
Thank you very much :))
Can you make a video about how to set up UI like you in inkscape?
good job
😍
This is amazing! Love it!
Thanks
Nice tutorial, but how did you get inkscape black and green ?
Hello, can I ask at the 7:21 minute mark, why do you need to duplicate the pupil and send it to the back? Thank you so much.
where did you get this theme from my friend
hey friend, I want to know, where did you download the Inkscape and what is the version you used to create this illustation.
Pls help. Why do you change the blend mode to Darken or Soft Color then back to Normal? What is it for? Thanks!
How do you create those color swatches bar on top of the image ? Thanks for the lovely tutorial
what do you use , illustrator or different format , it looks amazing . I love it .
It's Inkscape
Thanks so much for the video! My question though is how can I break the curved path that gets auto generated after I just drew a curve?
So this is what I'm doing Drawing 3 nodes with a problem between 2nd and 3rd node:
1. Bezier tool selected
2. Click on page to draw a node (Node 1)
3. Click another point (Node 2) and drag to draw a curved line connected the first two nodes.
4. [PROBLEM AREA] I want the THIRD node to have a straight path from the second node.
Inkscape automatically makes the line between 2nd and 3rd nodes curvy, I don't want the line between 2nd and 3rd node to be curvy, I want it to be straight. I understand I can just press ENTER and then continue where I left off by drawing a straight line, but I want it to be a seamless, continuous path. Essentially, I want an abrupt break and to revert back to a straight line path instead of a continuation of a curve. Thank you!
hello, you can press shift+L in node 2 to node 3 to straighten the line without releasing it and hold ctrl to keep the line in straight then click to create the node 3
@@ZakeyDesign thanks so much! SUBSCRIBED!
The vectorized version is more beautiful than the real one.
when having a common border like between the jacket and the hair isnt possible to use it as a common border or must draw it twice for each element? doing so must be precise and do the work two times
yes, i usually draw twice
for everyone else who is confused by clipping:
"A clip allows you to hide all parts of the bottom object that are outside the clip(top) object."
Pls add this color code in description
How did u remove background from image after 24:44 min suddenly bacground is changing to white, how did u do tahat
which software is he using ?
sir, is there an easier way than shift + L for disabling pen tool 2nd handle? thanks! 😊
i have same problem issue for this, the shorcut is awkward to press. recently just search for the shorcut in the .xml file but can't find the shift+L command, i want to change it to shift+C
hope inkscape fix this issue.
@@ZakeyDesign it's time consuming to unhand the mouse and go to L. But this video looks like he doesn't do it? or maybe because he speed up the video?
hello may i ask you, how to make custom theme like yours thanks
shortcut for corner after creating curve using Bezier tool - Shift + L
You're welcome.
awesome, how do you determine the diminsion (artboard) according to the pic sometimes the pic is very big comparing to the artboard do you use a same template for every illustration? thankyou.
yes, its using template
why did he lock corners
It's tricky using the bezier tool. I need lots of practice to get the curves right.
you're right, the bezier tool. many tricky things in here
i don't know why, right click set clip is not working for me
Sir can you please provide the color code in the description...it is hard to see
How do you use Bezier tool so smoothly?!!! I can not use it at all :(((( it drives me crazy specially for round corners
how you break or move the pen tool node and make a conical edge. which shortcut key you used ?
plz help
Hold Shift button
I found it interesting and very amazing, but im still figuring out myself about the color palette you're using, that i cant find it anywhere, do you have any advice please ?
I was wondering the same thing, how are they created?
@@rebeccaswayzee860 somebody says that it was a combination of synergy color, the thing in video is a rectangle with the colors, to gain it you can either go to coolors.co or just simply experimenting by yourself with the colot wheel in Inkscape
