Let’s be clear. You can be both black and Latino. There’s no need for the “or”. The correct terminology would be Afro-Latino.
We know that. it's a bit misleading, but if you actually watched the video you realize why it's written that way. Basically they are just stating he is the first Latino LGBTQ as well as the first Black LGBTQ. If they put "and", it's implying that he would have been the first person that is "mixed".

Hispanic* and yes there are plenty of black Hispanics. Just like there are white Hispanics, brown, yellow, tan etc

@@El_Jamiado Latino doesn't apply to Canadians of French descent even though they do technically fit the definition. Or people from Latin Europe, they're usually never considered "Latino"
