A huge mistake I made was not at least using my resin to farm extra artifacts to use to level up later. I ignored it because of everyone saying don't farm don't farm. I could have had so many extras to use if that had been explained 😭
This needs to be higher. Everyone says don't farm until AR45 but that's also the point where you begin starving for resources. People, farm anyway and keep your 1-3 star artifacts for leveling!

Me too. Day 4 and AR28 but with this guide I'm a lot more comfortable with artifacts. I had suspicions about a few things, but some of the hacks like a level 4 will generate a level 4 is a great piece of info.

Thank you!!! So far I've been assigning artifacts based on either color coordination or the ones that have higher attack, and then found out by accident that you can level them up with the lower one star artifacts that you aren't using.

I just started playing genshin and this is hands down the best artifact guide I have seen.
Good guide. I would only add general rule which domains farm as firsts. For example farm this one which gives you the most value VV domain is great because you get early (before inazuma) healer pieces and anemo at the same time or farm domain respective for your main dps/dpses. Its cool that you included info that farming noblesse domain is worthless since only few characters use 4 piece set (benny, thoma) and you will get enough 5 star artifacts anyway to exchange for these. Thanks mate

Rewatching this 😊 I just started playing the game over a month ago. I'm still AR 31, so i won't be able to farm artifacts for now, but it's good to have some knowledge on what to do so i don't do any beginner mistakes and possibly ruin my account. I'm currently maining Ningguang and Beidou, and my only 5* is Qiqi (blame my friend for that, she's the one who pulled-), I also have Sucrose, Noelle, Diona and Razor, and i plan to build them once i hit AR 45. I'll try to build Amber too since she's saving my butt every single time.

This was SO helpful. I've hardly focused on artifacts at all and know nothing about building characters well. Somehow I've made it to AR 50 without this knowledge but I'm like "shit, I'm missing out on so much!"
The artifact guide I've been finding for that even most of the info are for newbies but there're still some juicy ones and it's all easy to take in with the phase he's on and idk but I found this vid not boring like the others.

I've done the math, everytime you claim rewards for a domain for artifacts, there is a chance that's abt 1/250 billion to get the perfect artifact after upgrading that iz not flower or feather, gl grinding the godbuild
Take my like, few i knew many information but still some are quite good especialy the 4lv exp artifact you can recycle indefinitly, its actualy awesome !
A little thing if anyone come by this message that i dont think has been mention is that, when you search for set that you need 4 piece, as flower and feather have main stat fixed put them in your set and as you need only 4 piece, keep one of the 3 other flex.
That means that once you got 2 piece wit the main stats you realy want and reasonable sub stats then the 5 piece you can just go for whatever piece from any sert you dont care, you only need to go for the best stats.
To go even further with that, the gobelet is the hardest to roll as it got the more rolls for main stats

I’ve watched 2 of your guides now. You deserve way more subs. Much better than some of the big name content creators. Very clear and helpful. I’ve just hit AR50 and knew most of this, except the feeding level 4 to level 0 thing - that is huge. I have so many that I rolled to 4 but missed the stat I wanted. This will save a ton of 4* or less artefact fodder.
Glad I played epic seven before trying this game out. 3 fixed main set peices and 3 specialized main set peices.
Then 4 subs, 5 rolls that go at a certain value over a set range to a random sub out of the four.
The only thing id need to learn from this artifact system is the base sub roll range for each rarity, and roll range for... well rolls for each rarity respectively.
I've watched a bunch of these and I understand everything you're saying and I understand the game better! Definitely earned a Subscribe from me!!
