    One quick hint to those of us not using the metric system, when Martin says heat to 185 he is talking "C" not :F: Could be a reason some of you are having problems!!! Hope this helps someone!

      They are supposed to be but i've had them fade and peel before as today's dishwasher tablets are very aggressive so I always state Hand Wash Only to be safe.

    I love your videos! I recently started my own little t-shirt business and I am doing okay locally. But when I advertise on Facebook, I make no sales but my prices are very good. Could you make a video step by step on advertising on facebook such us the age group and target audience, budget etc?

    • @Dug_Out
      @Dug_Out Před 6 lety +1

      Michel M My experience of FB advertising is disappointing. The last one i did was a joke mate. I targeted ages 16 to 65 in the UK but out of 900+ reached over 3 days 75% were aged 13 to 16. And all on instagram too. And who is mostly on Instagram? Kids. Tried contacting facebook but it is impossible. There is no advertising customer service anywhere. I ended up on this Q&A forum run by FB & the guy that responded said that the reason the 13, 14 & 15 year old were shown the ad I placed was because they were passing through my target area. Considering my target area was the UK thst is hardly bloody surprising is it!
      And it was not possible to respond to his silly answer either. I'll never use fb ads again

    • @reviewthat
      @reviewthat  Před 6 lety +1

      We don't use Facebook advertising. We get our customer from our friends list through word of mouth and a group page.

Drawing are made with simple pencil, after scanning it i load it up in illustrator and trace it,but at tracing a lot 9f the lines are not connected,so after expandibg it and trying to cut in silhouette studio it cuts a lot of lines wrong. Do you have a tutorial about cutting sketches or what can i do more. Im stuck and really need some help. Maybe a follower can gyide me with it.thanks

    I would like to print on a clear jar in white.
    - What transfer paper do you recommend?
    - What printer do i use inkjet or laser?
    - How do i print in white will printer create colour white? or is there any trick?
    - Can i print gold or silver?
    i am trying to be as economical as possible.
    Thank you.

    • @reviewthat
      @reviewthat  Před 5 lety

      You can not print sublimation on clear items as there is no white sublimation ink. You also need a special coating of polyester on the item so you can't just print on plain glass.

      If the ink is coming out with the wrong colours, you'll need to contact the ink supplier to get the correct colour profiles for your printer. They don't work off the standard profiles.

  • @michelecreese6649
    @michelecreese6649 Před 6 lety

    Hi Martin.
    Also love your videos. Very frustrated as I live in Cape Town, South Africa and all you can get here with regards to Heat Press, Sublimation printers, inks, etc are cheap brands ("All in one" / multipress" promising to have excellent results but their presses all Chinese no name brands. Spent the last month on CZcams tutorials and hundreds of websites as want to purchase good quality equipment BUT none available locally. Have written to a few overseas (USA) suppliers and never get a response.
    Any advise on stockists / companies that ship to SA would be much appreciated. Although the exchange rate to our Rand is not good...... What do you seriously think about Epson ink tank printers for sublimation - due to import costs the SG 400/800 are very costly and the inks are unaffordable. Many thanks. Michele

    • @reviewthat
      @reviewthat  Před 6 lety

      HI Michelle, I don't recommend Epson printers for sublimation inks as the print heads tend to block. I would use the Ricoh 3310 or the Virtuoso printer for sublimation ink. I don't personally know suppliers so i'm afraid you'd have to just research i'm afraid.
      Cheers
      Martin
