I’ve never actually filmed anything sounding in this state. I totally forgot how many hidden gems are here and a lot of them are recordable on days I’m off. My first stop was this rare Sparton siren in Hanover. Sparton as a company still exists, but left the siren business around the 50s. Regardless of its age, it sounds really good. I hope to film it again, maybe from a more distant perspective. I'll definitely be invading Michigan more often.
While this siren is sounded daily, a full test of the system is sounded every first Monday of the month at 6PM with Hillsdale County (despite being in Jackson County).
Enjoy, and as always comment, like, and subscribe for more. Thanks!

This is amazing!! I never figured I'd see you film this siren, let alone come to this state.

Sounds decently loud! Awesome video!
DSRX dropped something good
I'm from Hartland Michigan and there is what seems to be a mini model 5 siren at the round elementary school. I've never seen anything like it. It is just the siren on a pole with a wire running to it from a telephone pole. No battery box or cellular activation unit.
