Yooo this time it's been a really long while huh~
I've been MIA as a musician for so long but thank you everyone for the support, I hit 1.5 million views while I was gone! I've been going through a lot of life changes but I'm finally back BABEYYYY LFGGGG
I chose this song because I feel like all the great vocalists have this one in their repertoire-- it's like a J-rock standard to me. And Nana (Osaki) is a character that's like deeply engrained in my DNA... clearly lol. It's not a particularly difficult song for me to sing, but somehow it didn't mesh well with my voice and I ended up rerecording this song 3 times 😭　but I'm happy with where I ended up. This has been like a creative constipation song and I couldn't push through my artist's block to finish this lmao. Rein helped me mix the vocals and did such a spectacular job on it, and was so accommodating to my voice and vision, I'm so happy to work with him again and have him on the track! yo you know what FUCK overhead lighting bc half the reason this took me so long was because the video was taken in such a rushed setting that we didn't even get to
check the lighting and left it as overhead which made me look... WOOF
Life has been so busy but now that I got my bag up I have much more wiggle room to throw money at doing music stuff... please be expecting more and higher quality stuff from me hehe 🥰 I'm really looking to get back in the rhythm of things as well.
