    As someone who was super excited when they announced these I was sorely disappointed once I compared pricing at my local kioti dealer vs my kubota...kubota hands down. Kioti is stepping up the game sure but they are entering the market at a price thats matching existing brands which makes it far less attractive.

    I was always a Kubota orange 🍊 club guy. Now it's nothing but TAKEUCHI for superior quality reliability and dependability. Thanks for the tour of the Kioti.

      Superior quality and reliability. Kubota is about as rock solid as they come. The one thing Takeuchi does have is if you need larger then a 97-2.

      If I can’t spell it, I won’t own it. kubota has the very best financing options plus you can finance all your attachments also as a package deal. 72 months same as cash. Hard to beat that in the industry. They even throw in a free key chain and baseball cap. And offer a spectacular warrantee, and full coverage insurance.

    My Kioti tractor is well built and came at a great price compared to the big brands, but I still go to Kubota for my mini excavators and track loaders. Ill give Kioti a few years before I change to the other orange!!! Great video glad to see Kioti is making moves!!

      If kioti was cheaper then the Kubota, then it would be tempting... But at the same price, why would you risk spending that much Money on something that isnt proven?

  • @survivalguyfyi5718
    @survivalguyfyi5718 Před 4 měsíci +2

    In my area, the Kioti comes in about 7k cheaper than the Kubota and gives you longer warrantee options. 2-year standard with a 4-year option on the Kubota vs a 3-year standard and 6-year option on the Kioti. Design advantages of Kioti: 1.6 gal per minute higher standard flow rate and precise flow adjustment, higher lift height, better hydraulic port protection, more sensitive controls, more durable paint. Kubota design advantages: 1 mph faster travel speed, larger display screen (Nice for using the backup camera), one piece cab, cross bar over rear is higher so as to offer better access to engine bay and better visibility. Kubota uses their Kubota brand engine which is superior to Kioti's Daedong engine. Kubota-3 has better rear engine access due to the radiator being mounted on top of the engine bay. The rear engine door is also beefier and the fuel tank being on the rearmost door gives more ballast. Kubota also offers rear weights to add on. Even though the Kioti is only 200 pounds heavier, it looks and feels much beefier than the Kubota. The bucket on the Kioti I tested was as thick and beefy as any bucket out there. Realistically they are both plenty strong. The Kioti felt more responsive in the joy sticks. (I test drove them both). I just really don't like the two-piece cab, small screen, and cross bar blocking your rear view on the Kioti. But I also don't like Kubota's lower standard flow rate, more sluggish controls, shorter warrantee and higher price tag. Factoring all that in, I don't know which I prefer. Dollar for Dollar I would say they are dead even. I don't have deep pockets so I will most likely go with the Kioti. About $106 less payment per month and 2 more years of warrantee. Kubota is a fine machine, but Kioti is placing more faith in their machine when you compare warrantees. That does give the buyer some confidence and comfort in choosing Kioti over Kubota. If Kubota honestly thought their product was superior, they would at least match Kioti's warrantee to stay competitive. This tells me there's parts on the Kubota that they are expecting to fail after the 4-year mark where Kioti is confident you won't have any parts fail till after 6 years. A company has to really test and smartly consider warrantee lengths based on their expected durability. If they get it wrong, they could lose a lot of money. Kioti has been making equipment a long time. They are a solid company, and they know how to factor this stuff into their business model. So does Kubota so if they Kubota is maxing out at 4 years, I have cause for concern.

      @@patrickstotler1201 I absolutely have no affiliation with Kioti or any other company. My relationship with my local Kioti dealer, Hill Country Tractors, is I’ve stopped by and drooled over their skid steers 3 times. I don’t even own a skid steer. I have a Case 450 dozer and an LS tractor with a backhoe along with a welding truck. I’m active duty but I weld and run my equipment as a second job on the weekends. I’m just excited to one day get a skid steer. To be honest, Kioti skid steers are still outside my price range right now so I’m actually going to get a Kymron XH42D excavator this year. I can give you my unaffiliated opinion on that if you like.

      @@patrickstotler1201 Always annoying when someone accuses you of being someone your not. It’s OK. I’ll put everything out there. I am in no way affiliated with Kioti or any company. But, Kioti, if your reading this, I’d love to be. Send me a machine. I’ll make plenty of videos and post them on CZcams. LOL. I’m active duty military. That’s what I do for a living. I’m not a salesman. I’m not a marketer. I don’t even own a skid steer. I have a 1980ish Case 450 Dozer and an LS tractor with an 8ft backhoe attachment, along with a welding truck. On the weekends I weld and run my equipment to help make ends meet. In this economy, I don’t make enough with just my mil salary. To be honest, the Kioti is too expensive for my budget as well. So much so that after I sell my tractor, I will be buying a KYMRON XH42D excavator for about half the price of a comparable Kubota. I can give you an entire “unaffiliated” spill on that fine machine if you like. My only affiliation with Kioti is that I’ve been to my local Kioti dealer, Hill Country Tractors, in Marion TX 3 times. Once to test drive and two more times to drool over it. That’s it. I have no relationship with Kioti or the dealer. I’m just a regular guy who can’t afford these insanely expensive machines. If I see a company making a good machine and trying to bring it to market for less money and a better warranty, I’m gonna do what I can to help them out. Maybe it will help someone else like me out who’s interested in getting a skid steer some day. Maybe it will force Kubota, Bobcat, CAT, etc to up their game a bit and be more competitive to Kioti when they start seeing potential sales go to them.

    They are a great machine and everyone could use one. But from my experience using a track skid steer from a few brands, such as Deere or Kubota, they are hard on fuel.

    Sany broke into the construction market using old expired caterpillar patents and spiced them up. They were a minimum of $20 grand less than the competition. Kioti breaks into the market with high priced untested equipment . Sorry but Kioti is not bringing value to the market. 🤔

    Hydraulic control valve rods bent, seal inside tore, 1100 hours. On the unit. Our bobcats seem to be more heavy duty and a lot quieter in the cab. For $8-$10k more I think the quality of the bobcat is justified for the price.

    Kioti went backwards with this design, all manufacturers are going to 1 piece cab. I operated the Hyundai version of this machine which is identical to kioti. Very loud inside, visibility to tracks or tires is non existent, very uncomfortable cab , bucket was garbage, very thin and holes for bolt on edge . Price. For track loader was 68900. 10 k more you can purchase bobcat t66 , cat 259d3, kubota svl75-3. I am resale will be terrible. Rather spend 10k more for better machine, money in the bank.

    TAKEUCHI make a much better quality machine for reliability, durability, and performance. Kia and Hyundai are incapable of making a reliable engine or transmission in their vehicles so i don't believe their Korean Kioti commercial machines will fare much better. 😊
