Patience Waffle, Chippy will do a multiplayer run, however it will NOT be in a FUN or ENTICING WAY.
The lack of mobs in caves feels so weird. I hope the next update at least allows zombies and slimes (they spawn, but rarely) to spawn commonly in caves.

Yeah there definitely is more slimes/skeletons and Those bug monsters also the worm guys which I see none of, maybe its just because chippy didnt show all those encounters?

@@embryodemocracy1275plenty of mods already do stuff like that, though most I’ve seen are hand made I’m not sure what’s the progression on it being random generation

Core Keeper is another good game if you’re needing to have a break from Terraria

An Starbound he’s also an option
Starbound is also an amazing option if you want something similar, the game really needs more love too. It's great

but Necesse is shockingly more challenging than both games in my opinion, and the way they made the seminar class in that game is so satisfying and admittedly. they did it better than Terraria
if you want a real challeng, and potentially like third person terraria then try out Necesse. It's so damn underrated
I'm waiting to see how they do WoF in 3d. Will they make it take the whole underworld in one direction? Cuz that'd be laggy. And the world's infinite so it's kinda an endless fight if you don't die. So I wanna see what they do with it.

This looks pretty great. I think the bosses should produce a bit of light though so they are easier to keep track of and see.
Spelunker: Increasing the render distance would also decrease FPS massively, because now we have to search a much bigger area for blocks of interest, which is already expensive as-is.
Then we also have to render it all onto the screen, and, that much stuff would most certainly block your vision much more. This is a very hard problem that needs more brainstorming.
The build you have has increased spawn rates on couple of structures (hearts, chest rooms most notably).
Tweaking is very slow as we are gathering feedback and trying to balance it out.
Water Walking buff does let you fall through the fluid if you sneak, as pointed out by Woolsnik!
The last time you fought the bosses in classic difficulty, that would explain why you had no treasure bags, and no EoC charging.
As for the bag's content - some of it is in progress, but will get done eventually!
Friendly bees are a bit of a problem to get working currently, but I am exploring a few ways of doing it optimally, which would let the mod have beenades and similar bee-spawning weapons.

Is it the rendering on screen that's the problem? Perhaps a separate potion for just chests. If that isn't it idk, just a spitball
Oi chippy, you can press shift (crouch) to enter liquids when the water walking potion is active!
you can also press a custom binded button to go through platforms (if you ever decide to craft them)!

Something I've noticed is that, while Queen Bee is charging, her hitbox doesn't seem to shrink to fit her new height. That would be a very handy fix in the future.
I am very surprised by this mod. When I first heard about it long ago, I had assumed that it would just be a mod that retains the standard Minecraft experience and overlays it with Terraria's aesthetic, add some items and maybe a few new enemies. But from what's in this video, this is less of a Minecraft mod and more of a straight up 3D remake of Terraria. You can hardly tell that it uses Minecraft as a basis with how much it adds and overhauls.
I think upping the side to side movement (and movement speed in general) would make fighting the bosses more engaging and natural.
Minecraft has relatively slow bosses which makes building and strategizing while fighting more of a focus, while terraria has more focus on skillful maneuvering, arena layout, and how well you can dish out damage while avoiding getting hit yourself.
More movement speed in general would make fighting much more responsive.
And making the shield work like a sidestep dash for dodging while also working forward and backward would make the shield very useful. Making the game feel more like ultrakill (but a tiny bit slower) seems like the right way to go for me.
Any thoughts people?

Option A: two eyes and a mouth, like in Terraria. The eyes behave as if attached to diametrically opposite points on a circle that is centred on the mouth and facing the player. The circle rotates around its centre, with its radius and speed/direction of rotation changing erratically. In Expert+ mode, the eyes are attached to different circles which grow/shrink and rotate independently.
Option B: similar, but instead of two eyes and one mouth in a 1x3 grid, it's five mouths and four eyes in a 3x3 checkerboard pattern. For movement purposes, the outer four mouths are attached to one circle, the eyes to another. (Again: each circle moves independently.) In Expert+ mode, all 8 moving mouths and eyes are attached to separate circles. I was initially going to have this as five eyes and four mouths because there are more eyes than mouths in Terraria, but I decided to invert it because I think it's more important that the thing in the centre be a mouth because it's the easiest to hit and mouths have more defence.
Horrifying.
A really huge wall (on two axis, following you on the side you faced while summoning), like 100x100 blocks wide or more, that copies your motions parallel to it, and if you bump into it, it grabs you, centers you in the middle, then launches you away with big damage.

I like the tongue, it's a creative choice that takes advantage of the 3D style really well
I need to look in to this mod because I have 1500+ hours in Terraria and don't mind some Minecraft and this looks really fun. I've always thought the only thing that could make Terraria better was to make it 3D.
Can’t believe chippy is standing on honey and never once thinks to try and get honey buff
The EoC looks off while it's dashing since it consistently looks at the player while it does so (It's almost jarringly scary when it does this) as well as the lag between dashing which makes it look like it's teleporting lol.
I'm not sure if my humor is broken or something, but when you opened the Queen Bee loot bag and only got beeswax, I laughed SO hard!

Somehow, this mod makes it feel like Doom Terraria, rather than Minecraft Terraria and I'm all for it.
Getting meteor before the first boss is OVERPOWER, but we forgive you, Chippy.
I know what the boss fights need, there needs to be an arrow that points at the boss when it's off screen!

TO be honest, I am not to big on minecraft but enjoy terraria more and lets say I have a few folks who enjoy minecraft but not so much the 2D nature of Terraria and this is a nice way of giving them Terraria without it being 2D.

I'm disappointed that the sandstorm in a bottle doesn't make you spin around, I always thought that would be one of the stupidest items in a 3D version of Terraria :P
Man the Magic Mirror on 0 is a disaster waiting to happen or maybe that just me remembering that for some reason you just randomly switch to it and teleport back home away from whatever thing you were doing...
I think this would honestly be so good combined with the 2d Minecraft Mod.

I would love if they would add the background of terraria to the different grounds so for example the forest biom would have mountains and pine forests
Second phase in eye of cthulu fight feels weird bc from what i see the model is set to ALWAYS face the player which should be false while doing the fast dashes, if it looked like in the queen bee fight when she faces the direction of the dash it'd probably be way better

Ice biome is IMO the best place to go for gems and houses/chests, more so the loot in the chests.

I think they made queen bre slightly harder because queen bee's attack pattern is really easy in 3d
King slime shouldnt be blocked by trees. If its blocked by trees you could just make a couple pillars and run back and forth between them to cheese the boss. They should fix that.
Also, the queen bee bees she spawns should die after 10 seconds, so you dont have to kill them all. Or they should make the bees larger so you can actually aim at them and they arent impossible to hit
I feel like the problem there is how it phases through. Do you just make it so king slime can pass through wood? What if you build stone pillars? If you make it so it can phase through every block, what's to stop it from falling through the bottom of the world?
@@ryanhacker5259 Thats a great point. They should just refine the teleportation mechanic they had put in place then to teleport king slime closer to the character
It really shows the limitations of 3D bosses. You can't have the intensity of Terraria in 3D.
You can, but it needs work. Omni directional dash accessories are pretty much going to be a necessity to side step bosses
If you think Minecraft's Ver. Of Eye of Cthulhu is terrifying. Just take a look at the 3D Model for Garry's Mod

i think the bosses charging at the player needs to be improved, its very jittery and theres no indicator when its happening, At least in 2d its a little more obvious. Perhaps they can pause or have a glow when theyre about to charge
