Author Whitley Strieber discussed his alien abduction case, as well as the republishing of Communion, the book he published in 1987 about his terrifying close encounter experience from 1985. According to Strieber, it was the night after Christmas and he had just gone to bed when he sensed a disturbance, a feeling that he was not alone. "When I opened my eyes I was not in my bedroom... I was in a little round room," he recalled, noting the beings in the room with him were not human. Strieber described being in a state beyond fear, and thought it was a nightmare from which he could not awaken. "The harder I tried [to wake up] the more real this whole situation became," he said.

I had considered subscribing and becoming a Coast Insider at various points but the idea that you guys took all your CZcams videos down to encourage that (which I’m left to assume in the absence of any kind of statement about the loss of hundreds of videos) makes that highly unlikely and I know I’m not alone in that

Whitley is a unique and special narrator.
I've learned a great deal of how to reach an audience and sound honest as a direct result of listening to Mr Streiber for many years.
He lied about the Texas tower shooter, claimed he was there when witnesses said otherwise, look it up .
That's why many think he's a liar .
I enjoy him even though I take everything be says with a grain of salt.

Read this book back in the 80’s which was a very unsettling experience. I don’t know why but knowing he was also a graduate of the University of Texas made him very credible. I still don’t want to believe it however in spite of observing UFOs numerous times. My family used to sit on our deck after dinner nearly every night. This was in Midland, Texas. We often saw a group of very bright lights/objects at an extremely high altitude. They were typically in two rows and would quickly change position. After a few minutes they would instantly disappear. We really didn’t take it seriously. My mother’s attitude was she would welcome them and offer coffee if they ever showed up. She said you never know when you might need to move to another planet.
I'd read the book back then too and was creeped out during the hypnosis section. Months later I was on a camping trip with friends, and (long story short) we all saw lights we couldn't explain. Looking back at it, we could have all freaked ourselves out enough by the story and all but two of us refused to talk about it afterwards. Years later I had come to find that a movie was being filmed not too far from where we were and that could have been an explanation to what we saw.
As to the others who are ready to call him a fraud, I say dismiss this kind of stuff outright. I too have issues with parts of his story, but I don't doubt that he has had some kind of experience. Unless you have proof that something DOESN'T exist anything is possible.

I used to love putting on a play list every night and listening while I drifted off to sleep....your channel was brilliant... informative and fun....that's gone 3 videos up at the minute two of them are 15mins long and one is 30mins long.... ridiculous 😠😱😮💨. Exactly what i was about to ask , and many others had in the previous last couple of days . Interesting enough it also sparked a conversation on reddit , users asking what and where C2Cam YT channel has gone to dissapear to lol . A few users stated how they even reached out to the Support asking about it but never really were giving any awsers . So i guess i will save my self a lot of time not to even ask . One thing is for certain tho IF THIS CHANNEL GOES BACK TO 20min max videos im gone .
Wow. I downloaded the audio of a lot of them like they were a podcast. There are some that I felt really needed to be preserved. When you store content online, you run the constant risk of someone deleting it.

And im not just speaking about the general personal media consuming things , but also very importend social life depending based stuff . But back to you , are you speaking of free downloads from youtube via certain help tools , or did you actually invest money on it .

Whitley has went so far bananas in the last ten years.....he's down quite the rabbit hole now. I used to believe his story was true...and not for book profit, it became a best seller, and he was already a fiction writer. I'd like this guy to have a polygraph taken....he's WAAAAYYY out there on Dreamland...

The message it gave me was our DNA was of interest. It us from the future something went terribly wrong. This being took me to its planet it explained their species are dying. Since then and even now they are in My life.

I have had an experience with out of body while asleep. I vaguely remember they seemed human and the room was real bright. I’m not sure what happened but I have never been able to get any kind of answer because no one knows what the hell I’m talking about and I guess I don’t blame them.

A few days ago John McAfee (not using his real name) called the station to comment on something about dreams and consciousness and acted weird and hung up saying he would listen to the answer offline…. The caller was from Texas not sure if it was on the august 28th show around 4 am Miami time… I’m not a coast insider so I can’t listen to the shows to make sure exactly when it was…. But I can recognize that voice anywhere!!!

A polygraph has never been proven to be 100% accurate, Hollywood pushed that it is.
You can do a polygraph tell the truth and still come out as a false. Or tell a lie and come out as true.

I thought the first few chapters of communion were terrifying, but the rest of the book (and all his other books that I looked into) were a snore. Maybe that experience did happen to him, or he had some situation (dream, trip, whatever) that made him believe it happened, so that he could related the true experience of that very well, but it must have been a single experience, because his writing since those first couple of chapters just doesn't grab me. and yet those few chapters disturbed me enough that I turned the book in my shelves so I could never see the cover. But it must have been a one time thing, because he never communicated anything else in a way that interested me. BTW he mentioned he had an "encounter" in october before the Xmas abduction that he didn't remember till he went into therapy, and yet, he didn't tell that story tonight, or in the book. Why not?

I hate to say it , but that is exactly what keeps crossing my mind seeing his name pop up . Over and over again as guest on different shows - how many times a year for the last what 37 YEARS . I mean like come on Strieber , you had a good thing going - everybody has heard your story , it was even said to be one of the most interesting believable abduction cases documented . But to play around with the peoles trust you gained making it the never ending story-loop , as if his life has to resolve around it . Like an everyday type of thing , thats a little bit over the top when its ment to be the most terrifying disturbing experience his life time , should this not be extremly awkward for people to keep having to bring that up ?
I do however believe the Original Story he told to be true atleast to some certain extend there is no reason of dought in my mind i mean this is nothing someone would just lie about so excessively often .
