    Hey bud, the couple are married & have two sons, they are Reilly Zamber and his wife McKenzie Zamber....they have been in a few Home Free videos and used to work for the old company that produced many of the older Home Free videos. Reilly is an expert master studio editor. They were in Home Free's funny Grandma got runned over by a reindeer

    The Fox and the Hound also play a non-singing role in Home Free's video of their Ed Sheeran/Marvin Gaye mashup. They are the couple followed in the video story.

    How good is this? Yes very good! Chance's collaboration with The Hound+the Fox is always great. But what a smooth and sexy voice Chance has. Perfect for this song.

    I encountered this version when it first came out. The first time I heard it, it made me cry. And the second time. And the third. Chance has an ability to touch the heart, as well as a strange "internal" quality that makes you feel he's murmuring to you alone,
    Reilly and Mackenzie (the Hound and the Fox) plus videographer Jimmy Bates were the directors of film production company Fifgen (not employees as stated below) and Reilly directed most of Home Free's earlier videos. Adam Chance has done a number of collabs with them, but this one remains my favourite.

    This trio has done several songs together. Some of my favorites are "Hurt", "My Mother Told Me" and "May The Wellerman Come". They are great friends and sound great together. You may want to check out Peter Hollen featuring Home Free covering "I Still Haven't Found What I Am Looking For" and "Amazing Grace".

    Chance does have a more smoky baritone voice, and in Home free he switches it up between a higher baritone down to a bass to fill in for Tim, when Tim is singing.

    I really enjoy "The Hound & The Fox's music. They've done a lot of collaborations with different members of Home Free & other artists. Their voices really suit the older folk style of songs & Chance blends well with them. This is a very old song that has been covered by many famous artists such as Burl Ives, Emmylou Harris & Johnny Cash.

    • @PositiveCrunch
      @PositiveCrunch  Před 2 lety +3

      Very old Song. Some say it has origins all the way back to the 18th century. Lot of debate, but a wonderful song

    I absolutely love this arrangement. Their voices go so well together, which I'm guessing is part of the reason why they do quite a lot of collaboration with each other. Chance has been featured in several of The Hound + The Fox releases, and they are involved in Chance's solo music in different ways such as backup vocals and producing.
    Some years ago Home Free released their mashup of Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On and McKenzie and Reilly are featured as the couple going on a date in the video. They also released their own cover of Thinking Out Loud arrive that same time where we see them getting ready for that date. Pretty cool!!

    You see how they turn around and face the back end of the tunnel when the song ends and the music goes all mystical sounding? Well, the camera is set up on that other side and they sing The Sound of Silence, this time billed as The Hound + the Fox feat. Adam Chance. Their features are in shadow since they're now facing away from the sun. Actually, since both videos has the same musical tone after the song ends as they turn to face the other way, there's no telling which song was recorded first. So I just play them back to back to back to back several times over.
    The Hound + the Fox were the couple with the little boy in Home Free's Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer. The guy in the blue shirt is Tim's friend Darrell Marrier. (He travels with Tim in the 3 Texas Eats videos.) The home owner is their producer and arranger Darren Rust. And the older lady is Rob's grandmother.
    Chance was the bass singer in his former group Street Corner Symphony. They came in 2nd place in season 2 of The Sing-Off. (HF won S4.) When Tim goes tenor on us, he drop back down to bass.

    Before joining Home Free, Chance sang bass in another a capella group - Street Corner Symphony. They were also on The Sing-Off, but I don't remember which season. Tim sometimes says when introducing Chance that they're lucky he didn't join Pentatonix. Not sure if that's a joke or if they were both looking for a new member around the same time. He takes the bass line when Tim sings lead.

If there's an emergency like my studio burning down I'm sure they know how to call the fire brigade, after all, there's nothing I can do about it. I do this at least once a month.
