You have gotten some good use out of that gantry. That was money and time very well spent. It makes me feel like I need one, lol. The frame on that truck looks great, from here at least.
Absolutely use the hydroboost set up.... I have used them even when the rig didn't have power steering because of vacuum problems and this just does away with those issues.. I do like the HEI style distributors over the modules for Chrysler.... but believe me, circuit relays are your friend as well. Get all the power with less wiring problems
When I set my 440 the tranny didn't line up either, the motor mounts needed to be moved back to the rear holes, but you probably already knew that. Great video btw
I can usually figure out why things are the way they are... But I have no idea why they ever put distributors in the rear, even if they are rarely adjusted or messed with
This is badass!!! Your channel has inspired more people than you think brother, keep being you!!!

I use it all the time lol.
I even cracked one of the 4x4's when I shoved it over to swap from the winch to the chainfall and it still works fine lol
Oh yeah 😁 coming right along.
Good work J.R. Can't wait for more

The normal car/truck mount lines up, the motorhome mount does not
Nothing cooler than having the distributor where you can adjust it while still on your feet

And here we are a year later and I'm not dead . . .
I don't know if you just come up with these comments on the fly, but that was hilarious.
move your motor mounts forward of the tabs not rearward
i was wondering if i could use aftermarket fuel rail on oem 5.3 intake, somehow my junkyard swap has a busted rail and a drive by cable throttle
Plastic rails like the 99-06 style?
99👍's up DWE thank you for sharing 😎
Nice i have tge same truck and trying to do the same thing cant seem to find a 440 for it though specially here in south texas
I wasn't even looking and found mine lol.
At first I didn't, took three years really. Just be patient
@@TheDrivewayEngineer I appreciate the time bro
What motor mounts are you using. I have a 1990 d150 I am putting a 440 in. I have been looking but I am lost when it comes to what mounts to buy
Factory 440 mounts
@TheDrivewayEngineer my motor came out of a 77 d200. should I just get 77 d200 440 mounts then?
Gettin er done.
That Street Master is a piece of nostalgia. Not great for performance, they did come out after the energy crisis started in '74.
just do it
That truck need to be in that garage first thing .sec that yard looks like a juck yard surprised the tyrant cops don't say nothing
