Lyrics:
Thinner at the waist line
I feel thinner at the waist line
I'm getting old in the face
Everyday there’s another new line, new line
Thinner at the waist line
I feel thinner at the waist line
I'm getting old in the face
Everyday there’s another new line
You're looking thinner, are you alright?
Yeah I'm just busy all of the time
I'm just a little more tired
Every day I really don't know why
(I'm just so far, I feel so far away)
(I'm just so far, I feel so far away)
There's really nothing like the first time
There's really nothing like the first time
It's a long way down when you fall
And you're missing cloud nine
I wish I was more afraid
I made all the same mistakes they told me I'd make
And now it's different everyday
They make me, they break me
I'm just so far, I feel so far away
I'm just so far, I feel so far away
I'm just so far, I feel so far away
I'm just so far, I feel so far away
You call my name
And then it pulls me in
You call my name
And then it pulls me in
You call my name
And then it pulls me in
You call my name…
I'm just so far, I feel so far away
I'm just so far, I feel so far away

Every song on this album makes me feel like I’m dreaming, if that makes sense. It’s a pretty beautiful feeling.
Best album ever, nothing like this.
@@ccgustafsonscooters well well well
This is the first time ive come across this band after listening to a bunch of knuckle puck and the story so far. And this is hitting the spot !!! Escpecially this one ❤❤

As my friend Cj said, "this is my favorite song, no wait this is, I can't decide. I've listened yo their old and new music and love it all. Can relate to all of this. Turnover is the BOMB
Turnover is one of those bands that you instantly fall in love with. I'm normally a sensitive nostalgic mess, and this is the music that turns all the mess into something. Fucking incredible.
chloe mclaughlin
a buddy of mine showed me 'Good Nature' and I fell in love. this album is my all time favorite. matches my empty, depressed mood
I fell in love with them in the first 10 seconds of Dizzy of the comedown.
You just said the realest thing
...as I was just writing "I just fell in love with Turnover!"
@@jesuschrist3000ADHD So did you! hahaha. Concur 1000%
This song really reminds me of my derealization. Just the feeling of becoming more detached from this world, more lethargic, so far away from where I used to be. Hoping one day I find someone who'll pull me back in.
Boop you're not alone. I'm really sorry you have to go through that. it's absolute hell. stay strong.
my friend, that someone you’re looking for has been with you the whole time. it’s yourself. i know it’s hard, i’m going through shit myself, but maybe someday things will be better. til then, take care and stay strong dude
fUUCK :(
Make what you want of it. I've already been through that detachment and I've slowly been reattaching myself lately. I just want to remind you that you're going to die, and if you were smart about your suffering, you would've already killed yourself. A blissful death is better than suffering. But I know you seek more. So you might as well live your life while youre still alive. Know the people you truly love and protect them as well as yourself.
That would be Jesus Christ my friend.
Why does it hurt
Rain Rain yeah let's hope lmao
same
did you try lube
it hurts my chest too
it just does, but it gets easier with time.
"You call my name, and it pulls me in."
Such a great song!
that verse singlehandedly takes this song from A+ to masterpiece level
This whole album coats the rough walls of my inner world
"There's really nothing like the first time, there's really nothing like the first time" so good !!!

I was depressive since 13, got worse with 19, worst with 22 when I tried to kill myself. Now I am back to life since I am 23 and enjoying life, doing things I love to do. Being fully truly happy from the inside and not faking it. I am in love with life and I am very happy with my job aswell.
I wish you all a wonderful life and take care about your mental health!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit: I havent gotten any notification about your replys. first of all thank you for your kind words! I havent gotten rid of my depression. This year alone Ive had very rough times with it but I am still managing to stay alive. It is a battle that I think will never end until the end. Its like a rollercoaster you know? up and down up and down.. this is my cycle of life. Currently I am super fine but almost every 2nd month I experience total down for many days/weeks, sometimes months..
Thanks for sharing it midwest 🤜🏻🤛🏻

❤️
So proud of you
So good having you here. Keep taking care of you
normally a punk/hardcore fan. but this music is really amazing. totally different vibe, just as good.
me too but jesus this is amazing
Why on earth dont I listen to more Turnover. This is beautiful
Still using this song as my ringtone, particularly the end with "You call my name, and it pulls me in"
i don't know how i found this, but thank you Turnover for existing
This album got me through some of the darkest chapters of my life.
Its currently helping me out. I just found it a couple of months ago

borin hang such a beautiful what? You have to finish the sentence!!!!
I'm on the holidays in my hometown, where I lived for 19 years. This music makes me think about all the stories, the days and nights I thought I'd remember for ever, or maybe that they would last forever.
This may be my favorite song of all-time. I can't explain how it makes me feel. Nostalgic, yet grateful. Thank you for this song.
Very nostalgia inducing tune.
Will make you remember mistakes you made, whether it was in a relationship or with your family.
An amazing song
When the sun comes out to play after a long dark winter... this album just always hits da feeeels
i'm crying
wuss
everyone cries, those who cant are just weak and afraid of being humiliated for it.
legendofjustin Here's a tissue.
Cry harder
Best track on this record. SO DAMN GREAT.
For me it only loses the top spot for Dizzy On The Comedown, but the 1-2 punch destroys me (in a good way).
i like the new sound everyone is coming out with. Its more mellow. Like La Dispute with Rooms of the house. then Title fight with hyperview.
Kenia Lopez it's called shoegaze/dreampop
***** no it isn't.
eric fairclough whatever man, call it what you want, im not about to get in a genre battle
+eric fairclough he's right it's shoegaze/dreampop
It's like a La Dispute that makes me wanna smoke a j on the beach instead of slitting my wrists in the bathtub
the "doot doot doot" bits at the end are really good omg
Very rare for me to find an album where I like every song on it but Peripheral Vision is one of those albums
dude not a single track is worth skipping on this album. its so fuckin good.
You call my name, and it pulls me in... I would hate you if I could. Such an amazing album
this song made me stan turnover
This album is truly one of the very few I listen to through and through. It is mesmerizing
I feel sooo faaar, I feel sooo faaaar awaaaay
heard this song playing in Hot Topic, Fell in love instantly.
this song just pops into my head during the day constantly even if i haven't listened to turnover in awhile
It kind of reminds me of the songs we used to sing at vacation bible school when I was a kid. I'm agnostic now but this gives me a nostalgic mental image of pine trees and sunsets on the lake
The chorus sounds a little bit like rock gospel song lmao
i was wondering why this felt so ridiculously nostalgic to me and you hit the nail on the head.
@@rachelruck8807 Or nail on the hand... hahaha
Really digging this whole album so much!!
Im currently going through another rough period in life and this song is helping comfort me
new turnover is so fuccin lit
Honestly don't know how I ran into this band but it gives me I'm in the woods journaling and drawing sketches. Then having a cone🍃 on the night drive home. 🥰
This whole album is just so mellow. I love it. I'm definitely going to associate it with the summer of 2015
this is one of those songs that you can listen to while you’re high and have an hour’s worth of revelations and reflections in minutes. it’s beautiful.
i am literally in the middle of this rn. it’s fantastic
really a great album altogether. this song is the feels all over
I just listened this song live in Mexico City as the show ending, thank you Turnover
this song makes my chest feel heavy.

A única coisa q tenho para agradecer a um ex é ele ter me mostrado essa banda maravilhosa ☺️
I remember hearing this album when it was released. Throwback to freshman/sophomore year
I cannot find anything better than this song
"There's really nothing like the first time"
That line alone makes me cry.
I'm so happy I saw them live! They are so good
September 2020, still listening to this. keeps me hanging on
This band bring nostalgic and calm vibes. It's Impossible to dislike.
This song gives me the chills everytime
This sounded amazing live
This was the jam when it first came out it’s cool to come back on this, forever gold album.
“You’re looking thinner, are you alright?”
“Yeah, I’m just busy all of the time.”
Man that’s it 😔

O sentimento de nostalgia com as músicas desse álbum chega a doer, principalmente com essa música
This song is awsome, as it is the hole album. Greetings from Poland!
When you understand it you understand what it means 😔🖤🖤🖤🖤
Love this song
I bought tickets to the Jimmy eat world/Front Bottoms show coming up in August at the Charlotte Amphitheatre, and I saw you guy's name in the lineup, so I decided to check your music out. I'm pleasantly surprised, and I'm very much looking forward to hearing your music live!

Listening to this album and the it starts raining...wow that feels😣😣😣😣😣
I had a girlfriend who I loved a lot back in high school and we use to skip lunch and spend time in the practice room where Theres a piano, we’d use to play piano and laugh and make out. I wish I was back in high school with her. I miss her but she seeing better in someone else😔
I'm just so far away
you call my name and it pulls me in
Lauren Marbut this album is a straight feels trip . It's really saddening to me
well i found a new favorite song
Was just rereading a webcomic and this was one of the songs suggested by the author to listen to while reading it!
What webcomic was it?
this is good shit
rfc always has the best bands
i know this song can be interpreted in many ways but like...it’s so tiring, you know...falling in and out of conversations...feeling like your body is there without your soul...being distant from everything...the feeling of floating all the time... not feeling like you’re truly living
...the lack of connection between you and your surroundings...being on auto pilot..
feeling like you’re watching your life pass by through the eyes of someone else,
almost like watching movie.. and this is all without drugs 🤪🤪 not a fun time xx
this one is my favourite
favvvvv
This album sounds so different than the others and its great
Godamn brings me back to my days of addiction. Would always listen to turnover. (Yes only clean coming up on 2 years) but when I wasn't clean id always ride to philly jamming to Turnover

Pink cloud festival 2019
I love turnover

I feel it :)
great music for road trips
This song expresses a lot of talent. The other songs on this album are fantastic as well. I just wish the new album involved the damage you guys felt when writing instead of appealing to arbitrary audiences.
imiss you
2019 still the best always will be
I feel like I am the only one in Indiana that likes music like this...has this mentality... always been so far away
Definitely not, friend.. Indiana has a very rich past history of producing very good music/musicians, even quite a bit of stuff that I would consider somewhat (loosely) comparable to Turnover's sound (on this record, anyways) - a few examples- Chamberlain, Grown-ups, Native, Merchant Ships, Midwest Penpals, Summer Bruise, I think Fall Out Boy if you consider that as counting.. There are many more, just cant think of them at the moment.. But you are not alone..
@@angelinaeasley9471 thank you for that 😀
i feel so far awayy

Change the lyric from "Thinner" to "Thicker" and you got me.
