He runs his starters into the ground. As a longtime Wolves fan, I came out of his time in MN thinking he's an extremely over-rated coach. He basically just tried to force his game plan from the Bulls onto a MN team that it didn't apply to. He did a terrible job.

as a knicks fan for 55 years, i agree.
he gets his guys to play hard-nosed defense, but he has zero offensive strategy other than dribble dribble iso-ball, and his player rotations are usually horrible. ALL the injuries can't be blamed on his refusal to use his bench, but some can. whatever that says about current nba players' conditioning is kind of beside the point.
it's like thibs is allergic to ball and player movement. i think brunson is great, a scoring force with some dog in him and pretty damn clutch. but i f*cking HATE watching him dribble the clock down while looking for his shot, not finding open teammates and forcing a shot. when he's making them of course all is good, but when he's not... i want to strangle him and thibs.

They've both always been much better players, individually, than most fans realize or the media gives them credit for. It's just that now they have a good team around them, so they're winning.

Watching ANT and the Wolves take on Denver was a wild ride! Speaking of watching, did anyone else catch those questionable calls in the Indiana-Knicks series? It's frustrating, but let's hope for fairer officiating going forward. Anyway, let's also give a shout out to the Knicks fanbase as they've been through a lot. Here's hoping the Knicks give the Celtics a run for their money - a glimmer of hope for us Lakers fans in this disappointing season! And kudos to the Wolves for that epic Game 7 comeback against Denver. ANT might not have had his best night, but their depth truly shined through!

I think they're the best team in the league, and it sucks that they might not win the chip. Sadly, there's a good chance that Boston wins it all this year, simply because they're going to be so rested thanks to their easy trip to the Finals. Of the top 5 teams in the league, 4 of them were in the West

I think Ant wasn’t trying to force anything. It was early and he is still young. What I have noticed from Joker fans that I haven’t seen before is criticizing a player on the winning team. Like since when do we focus on that? Sometimes great players have off nights and it’s how their teammates respond that makes the difference. Ant wasn’t scoring but he made up for it on defense. That’s what you would want from your start player. Find other ways to contribute. But for Denver it seems like people are going out of their way to make excuses for them. They aren’t deep, the other players didn’t step up. How about the wolves were the reason they didn’t step up with their league leading number 1 defense.

Everyone wrote off the Nuggets series as another sweep after the Wolves jumped out to a 2-0 lead on decisive wins.
I'm hoping they win but as a Minnesotan, we're conditioned to not get ahead of ourselves because when we do, the bottom drops out from under us.
