  • Hi everyone,
    Today’s video is boating bumps, crashes and mishaps filmed today in Ludham. The crash mainly refers to the car crash I show you close to the Dog Inn along the man road. The write up below from the newspaper has far better photographs than I do.

    It was quiet on the water today, compared to Sunday, but still lots going on. All the action seems to be the car park side of the bridge lately.
    2 lovely narrow boats today . Always great to see boats I’ve not spotted before.
    I hope you enjoy today’s video.
    As always, thank you for watching ⛵️🛥 If you’ve enjoyed this video please give it a Like. Remember, If you subscribe to my channel , click on the bell 🔔 as then you get notifications each time I upload a new video.

    The lemon roof boat crew were very civilised and there was no careering around. They were actually quite good at holding their position. Good to see they made it through the bridge.

    Whenever I can't sleep I put 1 of your videos on. It always makes me sleepy. I don't mean they are boring, they are so relaxing and the music so peaceful. Thank you. 👍🎶💤

    Boating holidays in high season are certainly not relaxing by the look of it!

    Nice steady helming on Sovereign. There's no need for full forward or astern all the time :)

    It looks so busy and very stressful at times. I can’t understand why some of these bridges don’t have a traffic light system. We have them on Poole Bridge. I could make a few comments on boat handling but keep my thoughts to myself!

    My first trip to Ludham Bridge in my new (to me) boat at 6.41 now feeling thankful everything went well and we managed to turn and go back. Unfortunately there was no mooring to stop and take down the screen and canopy, not a 2 minute job with this old girl. Thanks for the video.

      It’s a beautiful boat. If you’ve seen any more of my videos, you’ll know I do love the shapes of the older ones. I’m thrilled you spotted yourselves on your first adventure. Have fun and thank you for watching 🛥

      A Broom Captain if I'm not mistaken. My late Dad's favourite boat and a beautifully proportioned one at that. In fact the one he always used to request from Brooms, Captain V is currently for sale at NYA. Now if only I had £99k to spare! As you say a sliding canopy is a bit quicker up and down. Enjoy your new boat.

    Can't wait to get back on the broads, haven't be for about 10 years, wait till things quite down a bit though, way to busy at mo.

    Pressure is on when we come up in October and go under Ludham bridge with you filming away, slow and steady it is, we don't want to end up in your vids.

      You’ll be fine in October as the number of boats will be reduced by then. Well , I imagine they will be 🤷‍♀️🛥⛵️

      @NewnameSameme  Před 3 lety +1

      As it goes under the bridge you can see someone using their foot on the tiller. Way before reaching the bridge it had its sails up. ⛵️

    These people backing up always make me go 🙈. They can't possibly see anything behind them. But the fellow at 1:47waiting for traffic under the bridge seemed to be singlehanded but handled it well.

    You can't stere a boat from the front steering from back is easier and better. The boat pivots from centre the back swings out and hits boats and bridges.

    Question ; why are comments turned off on your video 15th August ;at the BRIDGE

    • @NewnameSameme
      @NewnameSameme  Před 3 lety +1

      Because when I upload a crash or bump or similar it attracts the Trolls. So it’s far easier just to turn the comments off.
      Eg.
      Why didn’t you help the people instead of filming…….
      Did you report it ….
      Etc etc
      Hope this explains, thank you for watching ⛵️🛥
