just got these in and tried them. have to say they sound great and the anc is so nice. tested the dual device connectivty and worked perfect. not a fan of the surround sound tho but i dont like that on anything personally when its simulated.

"Can not use while charging" is a huge deal breaker for me. Too bad, would've been a potential upgrade to my G933.

Personally, I don't mind because it only takes about 30 seconds to plug it in at night since 14 hours is enough for about a day and a half for me. Plus I move around a lot so I have to go wireless. I have the quantum 600 right now and they are great but I am going to return them and get the 800 since I really could use that ANC and the passthrough as well as the bluetooth connection so I can receive alerts through my phone.
finding a good wireless headset seems like a damn odyssey. whenever i find one, there's something like this that kills the headset for me. why isn't it possible to charge it via usb-c while using it? does it work with usb-c connected at all? like audio and charging through usb-c or is that usb-c solely for charging it? what happens if you plug your smartphone via usb-c to it? maybe that's the reason why it's cutting of the audio, 'cause it switched to usb-c audio mode.
i am looking for a replacement of my G933 too and i can't find a suitable headset on the market at all.

I’ve owned these for a while now and they’re extremely nice. For me it is by far the best headset I’ve ever used as far as quality, connectivity, range, and battery life. Granted I don’t game for more than 4 hours at a time, so charging is never a problem. When you turn on the quantum surround sound it’s insane.. it feels like switches are being flipped in my room when I hover menu options in-game.
Can you charge it while playing?

@@dist221 I got u bro. I also just got this headset last night. So far I like it. Wore it for about an hour and it still felt comfortable. So me, I think I’ll just plug it in every other day or so to keep it charged up. Terrible design to not be able to use while charging.
Guys I just got mine two days ago. Used quantum engine to play with settings, it said it had to update firmware. BOOOM! Bricked! Apparently updating can brick these. It’s all over Reddit. Returning and getting corsairs or razer.

was going to buy the jbl quantum one but found this video for the jbl 800 i currently have the jbl duo speakers but cant use them to their full potential as I don't want to piss off my neighbours when playing call of duty haha, decided to buy the 800 as they seem fairly good for the price of £175 and wanted the wireless option rather than a wire going across my keyboard pissing me off every 2 minutes

One more problem after i installed JBL quantum soft on PC another 5.1 system home theater (HDMI connected) stopped working in surround mode and now play just in stereo mode.
This is so weird when I turn on the headset, it does not pair automatically with my phone Bluetooth I have to manually pair what is up with that

How the noice canceling works on these? On mine it barely blocks ambient noises like tv, children or speech. I know other guy who has the same problem. He also replaced them and then same the issue. So it’s ANC really that weak on these?

I found mis information all around internet about that using headphones while charging, some sites says u can use 3.5mm while if connected to usb and it only turns of bluetooth connection. But cant tell. But anyway i liked alot of this video style to show all features also program that control everything.

Nice review, thanks. Got one question. Is that overall-volume-wheel change the Systemvolume from the PC or just from the Headset? Because i don´t like it when my Systemvolume controlled by the Headset. I always have the systemvolume on 100% and adjust the programs/games

Hey everyone just got these they are super comfortable. Is there a way to 1. Cycle through the EQ presets at the push of a button and 2. Raise the max volume for PS5 though adjusting the customer EQ setting ?

I've been searching for a quality pair of wireless cans I can game with for some time, but I usually have a hard time trusting reviewers when they speak on audio quality. I will say that seeing the Swans on your desk does give me a boost in confidence on these JBLs though. Are these still a top pick or have you come across anything better so far in 2021?

so you can use it with bluetooth and dongle thing but if you dont ant wireles can u use usb (not aux) ?
The usb port is only used for charging and for servicing (eg. Firmware updates). ANC only works while the headset is turned on, but there is a button on the left ear cup to toggle it on and off or set it to pass through mode to amplify sounds in your room.
ANC does not work when using the 3.5mm connection, it only works when using the dongle, bluetooth or both dongle and bluetooth at the same time.
How does the ANC compare to Apples Pro Max Headphones?
The mic is broken can i replace it on quantum 800??

Since I'm going to use it to video editing, I need something that doesnt have delay. Unfortunately I recently bought a Sennheiser HD 350BT and got very disappointed because in wireless mode it has a delay like 1 second, what is very bad for me to work as video editor... :\

When connected with the wireless 2.4 dongle, there is no noticeable delay. It's great for gaming and editing. If connected via Bluetooth though, there would probably still be some delay. Hope this helps!

My noise cancelling is not working🤔 Do i need to upgrade them w the software? I just bought them. At first i heard the notification but didn’t notice any noise cancellation. One battery life later i get an error sound.

It will with the 3.5mm jack on your controller, but it will not work with the wireless adapter.

G Money so I got em and they work great with my ps5. I had trouble figure out how to find the jbl software that lets u change features on the headphones but I ended up finding it on the jbl quantum website.

Can't charge while playing, bad for online gaming sessions where you can't do anything else.
The battery goes for like 13 hours with rgb turned off, and you can always use the cable if the battery runs out. The headset is awesome.

Yo noto la diferencia bastante; hace calor por estos lados y tengo un ventilador de techo que esta a full y cuando lo activo se nota que no hay nada girando; fíjate en el software si los tenes activado o no? Es mas efectivo que apretar el boton; y solo funciona si esta encendido los auriculares....con cable solo no funciona. Saludos
@@juanreta4039 si ya intenté con el software y Exactamente lo mismo osea la voz dice que se activo el ANC y se siente un cambió en los audífonos pero se sigue escuchando absolutamente todo al rededor mío, yo pienso que al final está dañado el ANC de mis audífonos voy a pedir un cambio porque en todo lo demás me encantaron quiero darles otra oportunidad, Juan que pena molestar una última pregunta, el ANC en los suyos aísla el ruido complètemente aún sin estar escuchando nada en ellos? Porque cuando me pongo los míos en como si me pusiera cualquier otro par de audífonos sin ANC quiero decir que aíslan solo porque quedan apretados y no más. Gracias 😀

Just test them in My Phone , but I think even 50 usd it’s to much , the sound quality is so bad , I have a cheaper Philips ones that sounds much better , even the AirPods Pro sounds better than this 🥹
