I always enjoy my conversations with Dr. Pai! Here we take a look at some lesser known ideas about Saturn! Saturn may be the eldest, but he always reveals new aspects of himself!
So true...I began my Saturn mahadasha at the age of 12...and this mahadasha will end soon but in this time period I achieved so much. I did my graduation, post graduation, PhD. I got chance to visit US and Europe.l learnt so much in Saturn mahadasha. I had my share of struggles....lots of it...the road till now was not easy....but so so enriching honestly. And yes I always had problems with my legs....such a wonderful video.

Loved your conversation. If we imagine the whole solar system as spine-brain, then Sun represents the Crown chakra (Sahasrara) and Shani represents root chakra (Muladhara). The crown and root chakra are connected through electromagnetic field in our spine same way as our sun and saturn connected through the electromagnetic firld.And when someone’s muladhara is strong and balanced that gives the person long life As the muladhara gives us vital energy for work and physical tasks. Just sharing my perception. 🙏🏽

This was a very enlightening talk, I myself am heavily influenced by Saturn, it's bang on my ascendant on the horizon. I absolutely resonated with the fact that Saturn affects the legs- there are many scars on left leg which I like to think are from Saturn with love, lol. Moreover, I am approaching my first Saturn return right as I end my sade sati a few days ago. This info was therefore very timely and it was a pleasure watching two maestros discuss it out, thank you!

Since I was little I knew that blue and black clothes are not lucky for me. I never wore those colors. When I grew up I got my chart done and my Saturn is inuspicious for me. However, I feel strangely enough, great respect and appreciation for Saturn.

I enjoyed this interpretation. I knew nothing of Vedic astrology. I have Saturn rising (exact). My Ascendant is 7'09 Virgo with Saturn at 7'14 Virgo. North Node at 14 degree Virgo. Sun at 1 degree Gemini. Atleast Mars and Venus are conjunct (4 & 5 deg Taurus-so trine Saturn)... I'm very serious by nature. I just want to know how it's a positive thing. How does Saturn bless me? Also, my Sun (1'03 Gemini) is conjunct my Midheaven (2'53 Gemini), both sextile Jupiter (3'45 Leo)... So it's not 'bad' per say. It's been a rough ride though. Made me strong. I do have an 8 Life Path (numerology). Birth day 5-22-79
What if we do leg excercises in the gym. Can it also be interpreted as working out saturn?

Namaskar, as father of Shanishwara is Surya, they should perhaps get on together? I was hospitalized with paralyzed legs and couldn't stand as knees weak. I walk a lot for rehabilitation.
Cycle of Saturn is almost 30 years, Rahu around 18. If you divide 30/18 you get proportion around golden ratio.

Thank you Dr. Pai and Michael. Very unique, interesting video. I do agree that 7 is the higher number of Saturn. 8 I think is the younger Saturn, when he deals with rejection, pain and miseries. But a wise, matured Saturn I think will be 7. Talking about the pain in the legs situation, I had this last year in my right leg, below the knee. The strange thing is, I had not really experienced any disasters at work, but I was not happy. Then problems did crop up in Early 2017. But it was brief. So was my move. Saturn moved to my 6th in january and by March I had started my own small firm. Saturn threw me out on my own. No dragging, no melodrama. It was swift. And since saturn is in my 6th now, I keep on getting injuries to my hands. Small cuts, bruises etc. Always the hands. My natal saturn is in the 3rd house in Chitra with Mars in 3rd too in Hasta.
Reneka Sivalingam I believe that KRS channel said that if there was a one singular trait of the rashi kundali to look at, for being an entreprenuer and having your company is Saturn/Shani in the 3rd house. Oh well 😊, I guess that is correct at least for you.
iTgirL2612 Yes. I heard that from KRS too. But it came after years, I've been working for other people 11 years with so, so, many reversals. I quit after 4 years and switched careers. Then I came back. But to be honest, I was never working towards my own firm. I just did the work. As perfectly as I could, without even looking at the money, without complaints. Without expectations. Then out of nowhere, it happened. Mine is a retrograde saturn. It is also my atmakaraka.
Reneka Sivalingam I believe you have worked hard and diligent expecting nothing in return. After all it is your soul significator, if I used the right word. Interestingly enough, Saturn is my Atma karaka as well. I assume, the Atma karaka is the planet in your chart holding the highest degree. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors ☺.

However, may I humbly state that it is not ShaneshVaram, as Doc has pronounced it while reciting the Shani MahaMantra at the outset of this video. It is to be pronounced as ShaneshCharam (meaning, "the slow mover"). For the uninitiated, the conjunction of the Sanskrit consonants "Sha" & "Cha" (to write "Shcha") appears, at times, to be written as "ShVa". Hence the inadvertent mispronunciation, possibly.

This is my 2nd Sade Sati (Saturn in Sagittarius) and the first one decades ago I met my bestfriends and we really bonded. It was actually a good and fun time for me. Does the effects of my Sade Sati now still have the same theme as the last time? I am relocated now, so will this affect in a different way or not?
As you will now be in a different dasa than the last time, the effects should be somewhat different unless the dasa period you are in has the same agenda as the last one.

I don't know why u have told that shani was jealous about yama but i think that shani is not a planet who can feel jealous. I think shani is a planet whose creator was lord shiva so his features was similar to like shiva ( monk like ) and he is slow because he is a karma fal data (judge of Karma ) which is extremely complicated so he take time to measure the results of our karma then it give the fruit to us . being a karma fal data he was detached from every relationship and emotions.

But good things to look into might be lymphatic congestion or potential thalamus weakness creating issues with nerve impulses. In my birth chart shani is in 3rd house in sagittarius. I am currently in saturn mahadasha saturn antardasha and have pain in knee all the time!! In 2020 i had severe teeth problems and have dandruff issues until i started his mantra chanting!! However being libra ascendant saturn is my yogakaraka!! Still waiting for good results!! I had my first sati sade during jupiter (functional malefic for libra) mahadasha!! It was hell on earth!! Def paid of severe karma during that time!!
Sorry, autocomplete on phone and posted before I had a chance to correct it. A lot depends on the Varga charts as Vargas can override the Rasi. It is possible for a planet to be a yogakaraka in the Rasi and create something good there but difficult results elsewhere. Additionally, yogas have to be qualified in a certain way. If Saturn brings more difficulty to the horoscope than benefit, it can produce results like this. These types of results need to be determined through examining Ishta and Kashta Bala, Subha and Asubha Phala and Dig Bala. So a lot goes into determining whether a planet will yield more of its tragic results or its beneficial results.

Astrologically, they are considered enemies. The point I was trying to make in the video is that this is based upon how the perceiver is likely to feel in association with this. They will feel emity in connection with Saturn and the Sun. But in essence, all the planets are working in harmony. Saturn with awareness bring soul redemption!
