I am an actress, and while in rehearsal, one of the actors in the play began to talk about a guy she was talking to in a way that insinuated he is unable to provide what she needs. I sat and spoke with her in the middle of rehearsal for about 10 minutes, trying to convince her that it is better to be single and wait until you find someone who is able to offer you true and utter reciprocity.
