Interesting, but their... hm... our female genetic heritage is very close to sicilians and Englishmen. There are no slavic archeological sites in Bulgaria. There are not slavic burials in Bulgaria. Bulgarians are persian people. PEOPLE - not tribe. I'm not quite sure but I've red that serbs haven't got any slavic genetics.
Serbs, of course they are slavic. The origin is from Dniepr. The first slavics in Balkans were Serbians . Bulgarians re indo europeans. In general, mach smaller and dark skin.

We are now a mix mainly from old Bulgarians, which are from Persia and Tracians. May be there is a small amount of Slavic blood, but it's small. Gipsies haven't changed because they live in closed societies, mainly because nobody want to interbreed with them:). All the best...
