tbh i hate how the writers call Riya the most complex when her entire thing is just having two moods she shifts through when, Ellie and grett are right there
I can't quite properly articulate it right now, but this elimination might be the straw that broke the camel's back. Grett has grown SO much since Season 1, taking the reins of her own life and was perfectly set up to be the winner by taking an anti-hero type approach to the HvV angle they'd been pushing so hard for so much of the season. This might be a travesty of the shorter runtimes the last few episodes have had, with some things kinda getting yada-yada'd to hit that conclusion. It almost gives off the vibe that these episodes are just getting cranked out as quickly as possible which is... a shame. I'm not sure what's happening behind the scenes but hopefully it's cleaned up for Season 4. My hopes are not high for the quality of the show moving forward if things continue on this trajectory. Shocking eliminations don't always equate to an exciting season. It's about how well or how poorly they've done.
In my opinion, there is only one thing that would change this whole season and make it better, make Ally get eliminated in episode 14 isntead of Gabby, the rest of the elimination stays the same, even Grett in 5th, and they Gabby goes to the finale to win for Grett and Ellie, she goes agaisnt Jake in the final episode. It's a way better finale than all the possibles we can get, because, we all know the finale will be Jake, Connor and Riya, and that finale is so boring because we know either Jake or Connor will win and the other will get third, in a Gabby and Jake finale, we would be roting for each of them, and it wouldn´t be predictable who would win.
Bro I wouldve been ok with this Season if Grett won, but now its all fucked. Like Riya is not winning cause shes the Villain, Connor is not winning cause he came Back, which Means either Side-Character Ally or Jake is gonna win. This Season is actully worse then Season 2.
Disventure camp was the one thing I constantly kept up with, since season two finale I’ve been watching these episodes live on CZcams, rewatching trailers, speculating elimination orders and drama, and even rewatching the show multiple times with friends and getting one or two people into it! But All Stars quickly went from being the best season to the worst… and I hate to say that! I loved this show and I still do but after Gretts elimination… I lowkey abandoned this season. These winners and the characters beats left are awful and I’d just not have a good time watching. Impatiently waiting for season four 😁
I think the problem is that the writers are making these super complex eliminations to try to justify the reason of certain characters getting eliminated but they aren’t thinking about what is narratively satisfying to the audience. Like out of ALL the 18 all stars to be in the final 4 they chose the NPC, the gullible twink, Connor who honestly should not be considering his horrible performance in season 2, and RIYA of all people. Like are there any genuine Riya fans left???
I wish she could have made the final she earned it she had so much character development from yul now it get wasted like Jake. And grett had the most develop over that episode and finally when she had a plan the writers screw her off I wanted her and Jake in the final instead of riya and Connor it probably them two because of them being mad at each other.
When I’m biased,I think my 👑 should win out of the final 4 but if I’m unbiased,Grett should have won this season She didn’t do anything in pre merge but she was part of the villains and was keeping them together for the start since she seemed to be friends with Riya and was dating Yul,also she felt like the ‘under the radar’ player in pre merge Merge changed her so much and after the breakup,Grett evolved into stage 3 Stage 1 is her s1 character when she was a menace character who came to play Stage 2 was pre merge grett being super king and innocent However stage 3 was her best version,she wasn’t too evil but also not too mean Kinda like the balance and best of both if you know what I mean Grett went under the radar for so long and i was so glad to see her finally show everyone who she really is I think her best move was to blindside Alec who at the time was one of her allies,she was the only person to really break the ‘heroes’ and ‘villains’ barrier which is a nice thing to see someone finally break it up Ally played a good move getting grett out but it would have made more sense for them to team up,realistically,Riya could have left and that gave grett her satisfaction along with ally being happy once they teamed up to boot Jake The final 3 could have been Connor vs Grett vs Ally where it would have been a flip of a coin to see who would win Also we all know her Storyline was the perfect story for the win and it was obvious she would win An obvious winner wasn’t bad since James and Miriam were predicted to leave every elimination so if grett won,it would have been nice to see a predictable winner for once But no DC decided to boot pretty much every character who could have won and knowing them,Riya will win with a forced redemption arc
Connor is the one I do want to win out of the final four. He is pretty cool. But I agree with almost everything you said. Grett would have been a good winner, even if it is pretty predictable. But I guess Riya needs more screen time and a redemption arc :(

Honestly I don’t care that Grett got out, she’s fine but winning doesn’t mean a lot really. She’s pretty stale as a character I think, she doesn’t really have a charm like other villain characters do. I get why people like her but she’s just not a character I vibe with
Grett fucking sucks, she is sooo nice and so basic, she tries to be badass but got pretty bland when she was left over with Gabby, Gabby ruined Grett and she should have left a lot earlier so Grett and Yul could have a rivalry

There are definitely a decent amount of Riya fans. I'm glad they like her and we all have different characters we like, but I can't with her.

Probably episodes 8, 16, and 17. Grett is really good in episodes 15-17, but there are so many problems with those episodes.
