Kamloops has a great freeway system. At one time they had the longest 6-lane freeway in the province
Currently in the process of the immigration process- potentially to Kamloops as a physiotherapist from the U.K.

You missed a pro about Kamloops, radio stations. My favourite is K97.5 (Brad and Alesha) and second favourite is 98.3 CIFM. You also missed the Blazers

Hi Kevin...planning to buy a medium sized motorhome to live in...are there any places where I could park and hook up somewhere? Not fussy!!
Black widows and rattle snakes... and here I was worried about wolves, cougars and bears, oh my.
lol pretty rare you will see a cougar unless you are up on the mountains in their area, bears those are everywhere and pretty sure you'll see a coyote before you see a wolf. All depends on what sort of property you are looking for. If you are looking for land that backs onto Crown Land well, you might get to see a whole bunch of wildlife.
Rattlesnakes and widows are harmless if treated appropriately. Never had an issue with either.

Another con is city taxes it seem every year they add another item to the tax bill
Yes I agree I think in lots of areas of BC people saw their taxes jump and their assessments jump on their homes.
Nearby finished the process of getting a working visa from Ireland as a car mechanic and have been eyeing up Kamloops for the last year or two, looks beautiful 🇮🇪

I think you would not have a problem finding a job out here. Lots of places looking for workers.
