The idea of Cheren’s voice flip flopping between Joker and Palpatine based on the situation and what exactly he is saying/doing is a hysterical idea to me that really emphasizes just how badly screwed on his head is

I am guessing that this is reference to the dungeons n dragons version of Pokémon tower in lavender in generation 1
Where psychics got possessed n attracted these spirits
My guess is sabrina ran away scared, lost in the mind n crying after that assembly because she couldn't process how vicious those 2 n cheren were to her friend and how she was FORCED to reveal everyone's true thoughts n feelings
She probably blamed herself in all of this and could use our help to get her back home
I actually think the forest segments are based on the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games with the rigid movements and layout
bro this dungeon is so hard
I also died like 3 times before realizing how easy it actually is. Use FE mode to select yourself that way whenever an enemy gets close to you check where you can attack from (the red tiles are where you can attack an enemy and vice versa) try to wait until they get to that spot if you walk up to them they'll get a free hit on you. When in striking range then again select yourself and then select the enemy to attack from a safe distance without taking damage (usually 3 tiles away). Ideally you should always use the player (Red) to0 attack and before you enter a dungeon equip Pikachu with the best possible type for the dungeon so you can take the least and deal the most damage. For the bosses just get right next to them and use the Engage option to start a standard battle. This became mindlessly easy when I figured it out hope it helps 👍
