GTA 5 - Nero - Spoiler and off-road wheels test - Chiliad

Conclusions:
1 - Nero non custom is better that Nero custom with stock spoiler.
2 - First three are equally fast. The unity of the timer that i used is minutes:seconds:frames, I tried to change to miliseconds but i failed, so times 02:24.51, 02:25.05 and 02:25.08 are almost the same.
3 - Stock spoiler in Nero custom not worth it, look like there is no spoiler, sometimes i almost lose control (00:24). I tested the spoiler glitch, I had the same result as using stock spoiler.
4 - All the others non stock spoilers have the same effect.
5 - There's no difference between Nero off-road and stock wheels, but there is in some other cars.
6 - I don't know if Nero Custom with stock spoiler have the same behavior in GTA online and Nero Non-Custom is still better than Nero Custom with stock spoiler.
All Nero's are fully upgraded car.
Mero non custom does not have another spoiler.

For the nero the reason the tire doesnt matter is because its tires cannot clip which when can clip is on gives the car more shock absorption the bigger the tire wall (which off-road is the tallest wall) especailly when curb-boosting and landing which results in slightly faster times racing due to softening the bumbs

one friend of mine and i are trying this set up on ps4... now , thanks to this. we are both happy with it... i think there;s a real difference - its not a placebo affect - it really is better

Hey,
first i've got to say: nice videos about stunt racing in gta online
i understand why the nero custom doesn't have (theoretical) better performance with off-road rims, weirdly for me that after changing from luxury rims to tuner rims i noticed an increase in performance, e.g. on "Lift Off" my personal track record improved by 3 seconds on the first try although i did a few (tiny) mistakes. It feels faster in tubes than before.

Th3Bl00dyN1n3r 3 seconds is huge, you’re not gonna make that difference by changing tyres. Was just increase of skill and track knowledge

offroad and stock wheels don't change anything I see.. (these 2 cars up) but why nero normal with same wheels and spoiler as custom version is faster?

Because stock spoiler on the custom doesn’t increase traction, but it does for normal

hi rodolfo, in supersportscars section it is proved that the nero and its custom version don't have better performance with offroad wheels. it's because of the code of gta 5.
Broughy1322 made a video to that. Search "The Best Tyres/Wheels To Use For Racing - GTA Fact-Finding #17". There he proofs it in 13 min length.

it's the same with the elegy, the code of gta 5 doesn't allow the elegy / retro custom to gain improvement from offroad wheels.
only cars who have improvement with offroad wheels in sportscar section are: Feltzer, Jester, Jester RC, Massacro, Massacro RC
in supersports section: ETR1, FNJ, Itali GTB, Itali GTB Custom, Osiris, Penetrator, RE-7B, Reaper, T20, Tempesta, Turismo R, Tyrus, X80 Proto, Zentorno

i think Broughy came back and and said off roads are better, that a friend of his had finally proven it to Broughy, i think catching the speed from the rumble off the curbs is smoother with the knobby off roads that stick down into the bumps...

AireDeZapatos It’s not that simple like broughy says. A lot of types of tyres can give loads of benefits depending on car.

the nero and nero costume dont have down force so yes that change has no effect on the nero's preformace and only affects a small portion of cars that have down force
