    I started to play Alto Sax three days ago and thanks to you i can get clean good notes with some vibrato, and has already learned easy pentatonic lick lesson 1 and two whole scales. I even stumbled into the solo lick from Pink Panther. My progression is really fast and i learn and master something new every time i practice. Thanks for great and easy to understand lessons. Keep up the good work.

    great to find some one with such in depth knowledge.played sax since i was 12 years old now in my 70s and for some of those years professional in bands ,jazz ,tamla mowtown rock and roll, love playing my selmer mark 6 with lawton 10 star mouth piece.as they say your never too old to learn and have picked up some good tips from your vidio,s.Anyone out there learning sax,this guy really knows what he is doing .thanks Jay .     As a long time beginner player on the alto, after taking several accordion lessons as a kid,
    I am now beginning to understand how an accomplished player incorporates pentatonic scale with an occasional improvisation between an established lick pattern
    This gives me hope that With following your technique, I can strive to sound more professional and play more fluidly…
    But only as I put the time and effort to apply this as I practice.
    For years, I have developed an ear to play Melodie’s quite well, but today
    You have inspired me to learn to play the pentatonic scales in time using a backing trac.
