@@Upwork I 100% agree, with these tips. Just wanted to drop by and express my gratitude for this video. It's been a real eye-opener about my mental health.
Work-life balance? 🤣 More like balance between doing real, paid work for clients 10% of the time and the rest of every waking minute applying (and buying connects to apply with your own money), weaving your way through all the scammers, fake jobs, fake clients, other freelancers posing as clients who just want to see how others survive here, building your profile yet again out of desperation because the platform is so saturated... wait, I did cover taxes, right? If you're uninsured (without a real, full-time, salaried job with good benefits), and in the U.S., good luck with that, too. Nah, I'll keep my day job. (By the way, how are those benefits for the people who work full-time at Upwork? Why aren't they running home to make millions from their sofa working at home as freelancers?)🤔
Basically no actionable advice for freelancers. Just an ad implying that if you join upwork you'll have loads of free time to do other stuff. Which is a lie.
These tips are incredibly useful! I appreciate your guidance!
