I think I underestimated just how tough it would be … 6000-7500 was for sure the Everest death zone . But cheers for cajoling me into it - felt a huge sense of accomplishment for completing it with you

Good summary of the day. Had to laugh when I saw myself in your vid (Tom) and it also made me laugh that this is your training for the Maratona! Having done the Maratona 3 times I can assure you that it is far far easier than that day on Peaslows hill! Anyhow, enjoy it because it is a stunner of a ride!

I said inspiring, but I must admit that I have never felt the slightest temptation to Everest, and after watching this, that visceral abhorrence to that “challenge” is reinforced 10-fold!!! Nevertheless, well done, and may you and Jayne never have to endure such a thing again!!! 😅
