Kapoor family's ancestral Haveli in Peshawar faces demolition threat

- The Kapoor family's ancestral home in Peshawar is in danger as it faces the threat of demolition. The historical home of the Kapoor family where legendary actor Raj Kapoor and his father Prithviraj Kapoor were born is located in Peshawar. Despite reassurances given to Rishi Kapoor who recently passed away, it seems like the ancient Haveli in Pakistan which belonged to Kapoor family might be demolished very soon owing to the fact the current owner of the Haveli wants to make a commercial structure there. Earlier there were talks about the Haveli being turned into a museum. In 2018, after a request by the late actor Rishi Kapoor, Pakistan government had made the decision to turn the Kapoor Haveli to a museum and the foreign minister had personally assured Rishi Kapoor that this will be done. My family's ancestral house in Pakistan was demolished some 10 years ago and no one gave a fck. This is no different.
There are lot of Pakistani muslims who trace their ancestory to Kapoor's caste. They are usually fair and handsome of Aryan stock. UNICEF should declare the building as a world heritage site and thereby protected by international law. The government of Pakistan is signatory to the relevant treaties.

My family's ancestral home in Pakistan was demolished some 5-7 years ago and no one gave any shts lol. Why should people care for some old building that they've never even seen before.

Now this kapoor family is selling their RK studio situated in Mumbai. Agar yeh log ko apne heritage ke liye itne pyar hai tho RK studio nahi bej lete.Pehle India mein situated apne heritage ko preserve karo.
