I’m glad that all the people The Straw Hats helped are finally going against the government in some way, but I feel bad that with the abolished warlord system they can’t destinguish friend from nutral from foe. Mainly Mihawk and Boa. Mihawk just usually keeps to himself and isn’t a threat unless provoked, not to mention he taught Zoro so he’s owed at least that much (attitude aside). As for Boa, she and the her crew were slaves and all they want to do is just live freely, so arresting them is just wrong. I’m glad Jimbe is with everyone else against Kaido not just because of his added strength but because he and the Sun pirates won’t be hunted like the rest.

I love the part where Mihawk feels excited, many chapters later revealed that he used to be a Marine Hunter. So far, Weevil's fate is still unknown but guess it's safe to assume that he left unharmed. Still weird, we know what happened to Hancock, Mihawk, and Buggy but no Weevil in Egghead Arc manga. 🤔🤔

I find it hilarious that Mihawk was dragged down with the rest of the Warlords. He was the only one of them who had no hidden agendas and he obeyed their orders and then his membership got revoked.
Compared to the current Warlords (Hancock is loyal unless it's against Luffy, Buggy who manages to gain a surprisingly huge following, and Weevil who is a complete wild card), the World Government screwed themselves over by making an enemy of the World's Strongest Swordsman

I think that he would run away.
So there is one option, akainu or more that one admiral, and shanks was able to block akainu attack so... haki is better than lava... and we know that in haki any of the admirals is in the level of mihawk, maybe akainu but if we have to go to THAT point.

lot's of people say "being in the crew to go capture X must have been really unlucky", but (with the info we had at the time) frankly if you weren't send to deal with Buggy, you were probably fucked.
Mihawk is pretty much Yonko level strength (considering he was/is an equal rival with Shanks), pretty much the only reason he is "just" a warlord is cause he doesn't take territory/doesn't care to have an actual crew. (frankly, without some damn strong vice-admirals or even a full on admiral coming along, I doubt they would even make it through the army of Mandrils on his island if Mihawk didn't feel like coming out (especially now that there probably also some 3-sword style using mandrils alongside the mihawk copying one))
We don't know a lot about Weevil, but alongside Mihawk he is the only other warlord that doesn't seem to have a crew, meaning he is enough of a threat with just his own power (no added benefit of having a "crew" to delegate too), and he has supposedly been going around slaughtering crews that were whitebeard crew allies before singlehandedly this entire time.
And then there is Boa, who not only has her entire island of mostly warrior women, but she also practically instantly-defeats anyone who has a shred of lewd thoughts about her, while canonically being so sexy that even most straight woman can't help but have some intrusive lewd thoughts.
and then even IF you are either so gay (,female and so straight) or "pure-minded" (strongwilled enough) as to avoid that instant-lose scenario, you are still dealing with someone who was soloing kuma-style pacifistas.

If you were send to get buggy, you biggest good news from recent time was that the 5 giant warriors had left to join the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
Offcourse you are still dealing with the guy whose "luck" makes him keep falling upward, and his "army" of mercenary pirates
