      Dutch Kickboxing is ahead of its time. Most great kickboxers were mostly Dutch or Dutch Moroccans (K-1 and GLORY). MMA is simply just not popular here so people pick up kickboxing as the main fighting sport. That’s why the kickboxing leaderboards are full of Dutch people while there are barely any dutch fighters in high division MMA organisations such as UFC/Bellator/OneFC aside maybe (currently) Jairzinho Rozenstruik in the UFC and Melvin Manhoef in Bellator

    Even though obviously Izzy has improved ten fold, he still struggles with the same kind of fighters. If you try and make the fight pretty, you can simply not beat this guy. His punches are too precise and his footwork is too good. If you stand in front of him and make it ugly, like Gastelum did, he struggles. I think Costa is going to give him problems.

      I feel like Costa has 3 rounds to knock Izzy out, Round 4 and 5 will be moreover based on gas tank. If Izzy gets caught by Costa then I am pretty sure it’s over cmon we all know Costa hits like a fkin train, He was able to down Romero too but Romero survived due to having a strong chin whereas Izzy lacks that. I love them both and can’t really say who’ll win but i will say that if Izzy wins, It’ll 90 percent will be by decision or if Costa wins it’ll be by tko or ko.

      i'm confident he only stays at LH cause in HW he would get smashed, against tall opponent he has trouble. And it's about time for some1 to correct him, he is too cocky for the boring fights he gives. If he is who he says he is, why didn't he KO yoel, he basically lost that, just UFC policy is to support mouthy young champions. Also why they pushed Costa up too. It's all about image and marketing, they have to be good fighters too ofcourse.

      @Mário Gama he beat him only two years later. Israel only fought for 6 years here. The lack of experience worked in his disadvantage. And physically it is also a disadvantage because of age. I am not hating, I am not picking sides. I am simply stating facts and facts only. Although the age part will always be debatable of course.

    • @TheKickboxingCommunity
      @TheKickboxingCommunity  Před 4 lety +2

      @Mário Gama Israel also has a victory over Yousri Belgaroui, Yousri Belgaroui has a notable win over Alex Pereira. Yoursi is 8 CM taller than Israel. That is about 3 inches taller.

      @TheKickboxingCommunity  Před 4 lety +2

      Point is. Yes, Israel is beatable. Yes, Israel has more trouble against taller guys which is normal. But no, he definetely wasn't at his best here. Alex Pereira is the only one in my opinion that caught him at his best, and he had a hell of alot of trouble on the process of doing so
