I recommend you to make videos on compatibility of components. For example I do not know what happens when I connect 4 ohm speakers instead of 8 ohm, the wattage etc. All TVs do not have RCA output. Usually and moving forward HDMI is preferable, more so for HDMI-CEC in my case. So which amplifiers support hdmi and/or CEC, which speakers to pair that amplifier with. Which amplifiers have a remote control. I think those are the things that make custom systems complicated for normal people and they end up buying name-brand 5.1 combo. 👍✌
thanks a lot for giving me this idea, sure i will try to make a video on this topic soon. the best solution to HDMI with quality sound is av receiver with seperate speakers. other stereo options are also there but not easily available in India and those are also very costly options, slowly i will cover all topics. the main problem right now is that people are not aware of the world of quality sound, brands are promoting soundbars soo hugely that everyone is searching for soundbars only. i am trying my best to give all my knowledge. and i am happy to read all your comments, atleast people like you are also helping other people looking for good quality sound, you are most welcome to my channel 😊 🙏

polk audio is a good option when it comes to budget. taga harmony is also good. there new 607 is good to start. if budget is good then go for jbl stage.

Thank you for making this video! A question, I found some posts saying there will be issues when using sub out option on the Edifier R1855DB for connecting subwoofer. So I'm worried about using the sub woofer, but I really want to get a subwoofer as well. Did you come across any such issues? Edifier R1855DB is awesome by the way, great recommendation.
there are many other options to connect extra subwoofer. but that depends upon which subwoofer you are going to purchase. some subwoofer have stereo input & output both, so those subwoofer can be a good option.
@@AbhisAVTech I was going for the same subwoofer you recommended Edifier T5. Anyways just to update here, I checked the back of my computer and I don't have an optical out. So I'll have to use RCA only which should not cause any issues even though I'll miss out on high resolution audio. Maybe I'll have to consider a DAC as well in the future. if you want clean sound with deep bass then invest in passive stereo bookshelf speakers with external amplifier with active subwoofer. or passive stereo tower speakers from brands like taga harmony or polk audio . and amplifier can be purchased from brands like aiyima or fosi audio.

Sir, I want to get a setup for home audio . With an external DAC supporting PCM, DSD, MQA. DAC to be connected to a stereo amplifier (which can be connected to DAC and also can be connected to TV, Setup box as well). The stereo amplifier is connected to passive speakers. I will use apple music on my mobile and laptop to connect to the DAC. Please suggest and help.
great question. but one thing, avoid set top pox connection. better go for fire tv stick or any other good device from where you can use streaming apps like netflix. desktop DAC are available at headphone zone, but as i can see you want to connect different devices digitally, so for that there are very less options available, better go for a good quality AV Receiver, AV receiver will cost less and you will get good quality DAC inbuilt. and there you will get many options to connect devices digitally. further you can use your stereo amplifier by connecting it from the pre-output of your av receiver. and if you want only DAC then ifi audio zen one signature is good DAC supports MQA. other good brands are schiit, smsl and Topping..

if you want to connect your speakers using HDMI then go for AV Receiver as right now mostly amplifiers are supporting RCA or Optical. but why you want HDMI for 2 channel stereo setup?

are you talking about dogeesound sound king amplifier? if yes then i already have told in my videos that i personally dont like those type of potentiometer used in amplifier for volume bass treble and other controls. also the digital player they are using is not at all great for quality sound. but most people in India like that type of sound quality, every one has a different taste of sound. i am more into detailed clean crisp and clear sound rather loud harsh and boomy sound. also they have introduced 2 bookshelf speakers one is 3 way with 10" woofer, and another one is 2 way. but the issue is that they have not given the complete details of the product on their product details section, so i can not comment on those without listening. if they will send me their product for review then i will definitely make detailed video on their products 😊🙏. specially i am also interested in thir passive speakers. because there are very few brands in india making speakers. and my experience is not good from most of them. i am having hope from dogeesound 😊😊🙏

Fosi is good. car amplifier is also good but for car amplifier you need 12v 30A smps. if you are going to use upto 1000w amplifier. the point is fosi amps are designed according to home audio needs. so there you get potentiometer to control volume, but in car amplifiers there is no volume control, you have to use external control like phone volume or tv volume control. so that you have to decide what fulfills your requirements. 😊🙏

Please do not buy Sony system. I have heard S40R extensively and I own S20R. Everyone praises the Sony system but according to me it was not that good. The main soundbar's volume is a lot lower and feels congested compared to the surround speakers at their full intensity. That congested nature of the soundbar kills the experience. Even my portable BT speaker sounds more open than the soundbar. I owned Samsung T42 XL soundbar before Sony S20R and that was better except it did not have HDMI ARC and the Bluetooth did not autoconnect the same way BT headphones do when we turn them on, hence upgraded to Sony but it is a disappointment. I have set up the speakers in a non standard way so it emphasizes the problem. But regardless of my setup I think the soundbar should play with equal intensity/volume. Also all audio is bass-y in Sony and they do not have separate control for Bass, Treble etc so it feels like the user is stuck with how Sony dictates. I can switch to the TV speaker or headphone and the sound is a lot different compared to Sony's sound. A good system should not manipulate the sound or at least there should be a setting to turn off their "sound signature" or whatever the F they call their mistakes. There is no such setting in Sony. I have had a lot of discussion and arguments with the Sony technicians regarding my disappointment. I genuinely suggest people to follow videos like this one and buy components separately so that you can upgrade or change stuff according to your sound taste. If you buy something like Sony's latest systems you will not be able to change settings/equaliser or bass-treble balance etc.

Edit: Search for 5. 1 decoder. It will allow you to use HDMI and split it into 6 different audio streams which you can then connect to amplifiers like this video. So many possibilities when we are not restricted by proprietary sound systems!
yes you are going in a right way dear. R1855DB is a good active stereo pair of speakers. but as you are looking something for movies so there i will suggest that you can also think of buying passive speakers with external amp, so that later you can use those passive speakers as surround speakers in av receiver.

yes but then there are other amplifiers those which support subwoofer. the amplifier i recommended are for 2.0 stereo passive speakers. 😊🙏

Sir, I want to get a setup for home audio . With an external DAC supporting PCM, DSD, MQA. DAC to be connected to a stereo amplifier (which can be connected to DAC and also can be connected to TV, Setup box as well). The stereo amplifier is connected to passive speakers. I will use apple music on my mobile and laptop to connect to the DAC.

great question. but one thing, avoid set top pox connection. better go for fire tv stick or any other good device from where you can use streaming apps like netflix. desktop DAC are available at headphone zone, but as i can see you want to connect different devices digitally, so for that there are very less options available, better go for a good quality AV Receiver, AV receiver will cost less and you will get good quality DAC inbuilt. and there you will get many options to connect devices digitally. further you can use your stereo amplifier by connecting it from the pre-output of your av receiver. and if you want only DAC then ifi audio zen one signature is good DAC supports MQA. other good brands are schiit, smsl and Topping..

if you want to connect your speakers using HDMI then go for AV Receiver as right now mostly amplifiers are supporting RCA or Optical. but why you want HDMI for 2 channel stereo setup?

are you talking about dogeesound sound king amplifier? if yes then i already have told in my videos that i personally dont like those type of potentiometer used in amplifier for volume bass treble and other controls. also the digital player they are using is not at all great for quality sound. but most people in India like that type of sound quality, every one has a different taste of sound. i am more into detailed clean crisp and clear sound rather loud harsh and boomy sound. also they have introduced 2 bookshelf speakers one is 3 way with 10" woofer, and another one is 2 way. but the issue is that they have not given the complete details of the product on their product details section, so i can not comment on those without listening. if they will send me their product for review then i will definitely make detailed video on their products 😊🙏. specially i am also interested in thir passive speakers. because there are very few brands in india making speakers. and my experience is not good from most of them. i am having hope from dogeesound 😊😊🙏

Fosi is good. car amplifier is also good but for car amplifier you need 12v 30A smps. if you are going to use upto 1000w amplifier.
the point is fosi amps are designed according to home audio needs. so there you get potentiometer to control volume, but in car amplifiers there is no volume control, you have to use external control like phone volume or tv volume control. so that you have to decide what fulfills your requirements. 😊🙏

earlier i thought of buying sony S40R surround but i felt this is something special
Please do not buy Sony system. I have heard S40R extensively and I own S20R. Everyone praises the Sony system but according to me it was not that good. The main soundbar's volume is a lot lower and feels congested compared to the surround speakers at their full intensity. That congested nature of the soundbar kills the experience. Even my portable BT speaker sounds more open than the soundbar. I owned Samsung T42 XL soundbar before Sony S20R and that was better except it did not have HDMI ARC and the Bluetooth did not autoconnect the same way BT headphones do when we turn them on, hence upgraded to Sony but it is a disappointment.
I have set up the speakers in a non standard way so it emphasizes the problem. But regardless of my setup I think the soundbar should play with equal intensity/volume. Also all audio is bass-y in Sony and they do not have separate control for Bass, Treble etc so it feels like the user is stuck with how Sony dictates. I can switch to the TV speaker or headphone and the sound is a lot different compared to Sony's sound. A good system should not manipulate the sound or at least there should be a setting to turn off their "sound signature" or whatever the F they call their mistakes. There is no such setting in Sony. I have had a lot of discussion and arguments with the Sony technicians regarding my disappointment.
I genuinely suggest people to follow videos like this one and buy components separately so that you can upgrade or change stuff according to your sound taste. If you buy something like Sony's latest systems you will not be able to change settings/equaliser or bass-treble balance etc.

Edit: Search for 5. 1 decoder. It will allow you to use HDMI and split it into 6 different audio streams which you can then connect to amplifiers like this video. So many possibilities when we are not restricted by proprietary sound systems!
yes you are going in a right way dear. R1855DB is a good active stereo pair of speakers. but as you are looking something for movies so there i will suggest that you can also think of buying passive speakers with external amp, so that later you can use those passive speakers as surround speakers in av receiver.
