McHale claims teams pay full attention on him that guy even no need to score once for entire Q, but Boston still have wide open lane shoots or easy job. And you actually don't have to question whether he was stat-padding, playing for himself, or playing for the team and the win. That alone narrows that already narrow pool considerably more.

Literally that simply *can not be stat padding* at that point, he's just scoring trying to win the game. The Sixers won by 10 when Joel got 70. It's not egregious or even unusual to have any starter still in there trying to score when their team is up by 10 at closing time. Not to mention you had both guys focused on exactly what they normally do: Booker scoring and Joel scoring and getting boards. Don't get "having a great night" and "stat padding" mixed up. Did you see Jordan Clarkson on the Jazz get a triple double this season? THAT was stat padding. You had a guy (and his entire team really) desert everything else he was doing just to get the 10th rebound. I rest my case.
