I am watching Meng Chen,Sun Y, Ito Mima, Liu Shiwen... at the Tokyo olympics nowadays, i can definitely say that nobody equals to Zhang Yining. She is simply the best.
definitely, she never lost one big game in my memory, and she is always seems like she is winning
ZhangYining is the best female table tennis player in the history!perfect defence skills without any weakness
Perhaps you were not watching TT from the 20th century.
@@benthekeeshond545 LOL pls tell me u are joking
@@nagi-springfield93
Why do you think I am joking? Zhang was really good but not the best of all-time. To begin with, it is difficult to compare players from different eras.
Zhang Yining is the Michael Jordan of Table Tennis
A little girl who just dream to become a table tennis champion and one day will raise there flag because of her is really good inspiration and motivation!! And now consider as greatest table tennis female table tennis player in history. Zhang Yining your the all time greats!!
It's not really suprising that she is a two time grand slammer and called the devil king in table tennis. Look at how she played! Her backhand is out of this WORLD!
4x grand slam actually.
Bruh I remember when I was a kid watching her play. I was like why is she always poker face all the time...LOL
@Landyn Erick yup, I've been watching on InstaFlixxer for since december myself :D
@Landyn Erick yup, been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself :)
not quite
They called her yellow beast.
Wow, I have asked for a video about her just yesterday, I didn't know she was already the next one on your list haha
She has the most impressive backhand block that I have ever seen, even shots at wide BH she can return without lose much balance and without giving easy balls to the oponent.
Thanks!
Her talent is unmatched. Watching her games feels like she is just practicing with you. Few female players of the same generation can force her to use her true strength. Today Chen Meng is the world's first, but her skills and competition Time's mentality is obviously inferior to Zhang Yining.
The biggest opponent in Zhang Yining's athlete career is only herself in the mirror. After Deng Yaping and Wang Nan, she is the third top table tennis player I have recognized.
She served her time for country like her predecessors.
This Video should be titled "Zhang Yining - The big Devil King" even she's a female.. Haaha I remember AI fukahara almost cry when Zhang Yining leave her behind in a 9-0 lead. Hahaha :)
Wow. Thanks for making a video about me! Hahaha Xd! She's my favorite table tennis player of all time and I just ask to make a video about her in your other video! Thanks man .Zhang Yining is a LEGEND!!!
Can you do a video next on Kong Linghui or liu guoliang plz? Thanks. : )
yeah, she sure is great. It seems to me she put together great natural ability with very smart thinking. as example, against the girl slicer, she took her time, softly returning shots, inviting her opponent to start attacking. As soon as her opponent did that she had her right were she wanted her. The slicer could not possibly keep up using attacking shots to win points against Zhang. If Miu could ever play as smart as Zhang, she might have a chance at being the best.
世界史上で一番強い!しかも美しい卓球🏓
There is a saying in China about TT, that you need to win world championship to attend China National Tournament. This surely should be a joke, but it really pointed out how difficult the China TT National Tournament is.
Could you do a video for Ding Ning please? Thank you ;)
Come to think about it, I've never seen Zhang Yi Ning lose. I mean I'm sure she has, especially when she was younger. But I personally have never seen a match on youtube that she lost. Instead of building the Great Wall of China, they should've just but her there instead. Nothing can get past her man, it's insane!!!

Wang Nan beat her many times. Actually Wang Nan is much more successful at World championships. And they are almost of the same age. Wang Nan and Ding Ning are the greatest
@@user-qq9gc9rf8s Zhang Yining leads against Wang Nan, 11:7! The Greatest of all time!!
@Dikman S F Zhang Yining is 8 time majors champion. No compare with Wang Manyu. Zhang Yining is the greatest of all time.
@Dikman S F Today the player to be overcome is Chen Meng. Who won 4 world tour tournaments this year. And Sun Yingsha, 2 tournaments and Asian championships.
Table tennis difficulty level is divided into, entry, beginner, intermediate, advanced, professional, hell, China
She makes it look so effortless, beautiful.
The 2 times grand slam champion!!
Her record speaks for herself. I agreed base on her record. She did lost to Ding Ning in 2007 in the WTTC trials. May be sometimes the style of play is different and difficult to adjust.
She's also lost to European players(like Nicole Struse) and non-China players(Feng Tianwei, Jiang Huajun on more than one occasion) too actually.
Please make a vedio on jorgenn personn
What are you even supposed to do against her? She's a complete player

You should do wang nan and tomokazu harimoto

An overpowered female Ma Long
sw her at a killerspin event in chicago. she beat the pants off of everyone including samsonov & michael maize.she has a fierce determination to win
She even beat samsonov and maze..???!??
It wasn’t Samsonov and maze. It was some polish guy, Mike hazinski, and this Chinese player in the finals. She blocked all power loops like nothing. Extremely impressive and the best blocker I’ve seen.
Most talented in all time
She might even be better than male players
I have seen her beat Blasczyk (hopefully written correctly), a former Polish Top 50/100 male player. She is extremely solid above the table

Is there any other method besides wins/losses etc. to tell how good someone was. Deng Yaping retired at 24 years of age
Zhang yining win rate is 93% ...for compare chen meng is 86% and sun yingsha(dominated now in the world) just 84% ...

张怡宁很漂亮…
Can you do Zhang Zike?
SayanGoko there already is one
I meant another one.
名副其實的大魔王
No wonder that she rarely lost in so many games
The best player ever is Cao Yanhua in the 1980s. Her husband was Shi Zhihao who is also in national team.
Wow! At last, somebody mentioned Cao Yan Hua. Skillwise with mental toughness, Cao Yan Hua, Deng Ya Ping, and Zhang Yi Ning are in the same class. Once we examine their records, nobody came close to Cao Yan Hua. She was completely unbeatable in both national and international competitions. We know Ma Long is the most dominant Gentleman player and Cao yan Hua would be the female counterpart. But don't mention Shi Zhi Hao, a womanizer and loser. Shi Zhi Hao sucked big-time.
For me is the best. I don't know Deng Yaping. I know ZYining. She was amazing and beautiful table tennis player.
张怡宁-The big Devil King
Zhang Yi Ning is definitely a very good TT player but to label her as the greatest ever is more than farfetched. Many great female players from China and it is very difficult to pinpoint who is better because we cannot manipulate time. To name a few, one of Zhang's contemporary, Wang Nan, if not better than Zhang, Wang was the better player in the early stage of their careers. They all happened in the 40 mm ball and 11 points era which is different from the original game.
As we go further back in time, a prime Deng Ya Ping was almost unbeatable. Can we recall Cao Yan Hua from the early 1980s? Cao was runner-up to Tong Ling for the 1981 WTTC Single Championship. However, Cao lost because she was instructed by coaches to lose to Tong. For the next 2 WTTC tournaments, Cao won both 1983 and 1985 WTTC Single titles. Also, not many players that can win the Chinese TT Championship 2 years in a row. Cao Yan Hua was one of them. Afterward, Cao was unofficially forced to leave the National Team due to personal conflicts with the coaching staff. She was only 23 years old.
If I have to pick the female GOAT of Table Tennis, it got to be Cao Yan Hua.
The crazy thing is, she was not just the best, but there was a huge gap between her and 2nd place
打不死的精神好樣的 中國人!👏👏👏
Definitely the best female player to ever lived so far.
Even the current DN or LSW are not quite on that level of supremacy.
Wang Nan was not that far, while Deng Yaping played in a different area.
So, I would say yes: she deserves the title of best female player in history.
By ignoring Deng Ya Ping, your conclusion contradicted what you mentioned before. Deng Ya Ping was just as dominant or more than Zhang Yi Ning was during the peak of their careers. Deng Ya Ping was the unquestionable #1 for many years. In the early stage of Zhang Yi Ling's career, Wang Nan was the better player.
If there is a female GOAT of Table Tennis, it is Cao Yan Hua. Anybody don't know much about Cao Yan Hua, I can tell you a few of her accomplishments in TT here. Cao was the WTTC Women Single Champion in 1983 and 1985. At about 19 years old, she was the designated WTTC runner-up in 1981 by her unbiased or impartial group of national coaches. The same bunch of clowns forced Cao Yan Hua to retire from TT at a tender age of 23.
@@benthekeeshond545 No, no, I'm not ignoring Deng Ya Ping. I just think they didn't play at the exact same time. She was probably as dominant as Zhang Yining, but it's hard to see her above. At best a draw IMO. As for Cao Yan Hua, I don't know her, so you might completely be right. And when I read she was forced to leave at 23, it makes me sad and a bit angry to be honest. I would say the worst thing about the chinese players are definitely the way national coaches managed their team.
@@Raphael-jo1rp
It is vigorously tough to determine who's better from different eras. There were many other great female players in the history of TT. I am glad that you spent the time to investigate a bit about Cao Yan Hua. Cao Yan Hua is definitely one of the explicit standouts within this group of elite champions. If I am correct, Cao first appeared at the 1979 WTTC tournament. She did very well and from what I heard, she was told to lose to other Chinese players. The same thing happened in 1981 at the final. Tong Ling was picked to win against Cao. 1983 was different because all of the Chinese women players were defeated, including Tong Ling. Cao Yan Hua, the often neglected girl, was handed the task to win the WTTC Female Single Title. Of course, Cao won handily in the final, three games to one. Cao Yan Hua also did the same thing at 2 Asian Games. This young and beautiful lady, Cao, left no doubt that she was one of the best ever in international competitions. At the National Level, I believe Cao also compiled the best W/L record inside China within that 5 years period.
One more reason to pick Cao as the GOAT is how this lady performs under pressure. Great as Chinese TT is, we should notice that once one or two of their top players lost, the rest of them fell like dominos. Even among the many TT champions from China, only a few can buck the trend of losing. Jiang Jia Liang was one of them. From the lady side, Cao Yan Hua was definitely the most clutch player there is. Also, Xu Xin is a disciple of Coach Cao Yan Hua.
yes..the only player i havent seen lose...i know she lost when she was young
Because win rate is 93% even higher than malong, fan zhedong... unbelievable...
zhang yining backhand blok is best woman player ...
My angle is performing...
Better than deng yaping?
Yes
Different era. Deng Yaping was the best player in her era.
poortaiwanese no,no. Both were very succesful. Btw,Wang nan is the top for me
definitely not,dyp is the best
Deng was the sharpest sword in the world of TT, but Zhang is flawless.
某日某一朋友去张怡宁家做客,指着放奖牌的柜子说:怎么有一块银牌啊。张怡宁马上厉声说道:别碰那块,银牌就那一块,其他的随便动。
错了,那银牌是王皓叔叔借的
I think Deng ya ping is the best female table tennis player in history. After Deng ya ping was forced to retire to the national team, Wang nan and Zhang yi ning came to dominate the world.
I think Deng left the national team on her own terms. She left because she was losing to her compatriots. This is natural, age and upcoming players. After winning 3 WTTC single titles in 8 years, Deng is one of the best ever. But there is no way that the best players can play against each other from different eras. It is hard to pick one best player out of so many champions. But if we have to, Cao Yan Hua is definitely above all other WTTC champions. Cao appeared in the 1979 WTTC Championship games as a 17-year-old teenager. She did extraordinary well in single events and was told by her impartial coaches to lose to another Chinese player. In 1981 WTTC, Cao Yan Hua got to the final and again was instructed by her unbiased coaches to lose to Tong Ling. 1983 WTTC, all Chinese woman players succumbed to defeats. With no obstructions from her noble coaches, Cao went on to win her 1st WTTC Singles Title. She won the 1985 WTTC Single again. In the same year 1985, however, Cao Yan Hua was indirectly "FORCED" to leave the Chinese National Team. Cao Yan Hua was only 23 years old.
If interested, go to Wiki and search for Cao Yan Hua. Cao was practically unbeatable inside or outside of China for 7 years.
@@benthekeeshond545 is she pen hold player?
@@sumandas9487
Yes! Cao Yan Hua was a pen-holder. She specialized in looping, fast loop-drives or slow and spinny loops. Cao was also exceptionally great with her serves. The high toss serve from the forehand side is/was common but Cao also served high-toss from her backhand side. Cao was an all-out offensive player and being a pen-holder, she had great footwork. However, Cao also possessed incredible defensive skills. Over Cao's great shortened career, she triumphed over the best offensive players by reversing to a defensive posture. She didn't have to initiate attacks or take the first strike and took down her opponents. If we have to pick a GOAT for female Table Tennis, it is Cao Yan Hua.
@@benthekeeshond545 now a days we can't see any j-pen player in professional circuit is it tough to learn or it does not have any chance against shake hand grip player?
@@sumandas9487
It is an open secret that pen-hold players' backhand is a weakness. Especially the Japanese penholders. The last great Japanese penholders were Mitsuru Kohno and Seiji Ono. Both won the world singles. The main reason was that both were tremendous attackers and would execute kill-shots than play long rallies. Kohno has a lethal backhand. Since then, the Koreans became better than the Japanese J-pen players. But the Koreans love to play long rallies and therefore were massacred by the shakehand players.

second best, deng yapping was and will always be number one
She is only considered as the best as well Deng yaping has achieve. Deng Yaping leads with a three championship unlike Zhang Yining only 2. But they are both 2 times Olympic and grandslam Champions.
Rubbish. Deng was never as good as Zhang.
when she started career she cant even get a world ranking because she didnt loose enough competitions... and when she did she held it until she retires
Look like malong face
Zhang Yining is one of the greatest - not "The Greatest" - don't forget Deng Yaping or Ding Ning :-)
Ding Ning is not top 3 in Chinese history of TT. The top 3 big devils in China is ZhangYining Dengyaping Wangnan.
70% of her opponents were left handed
0% were penholders. Very odd.
Ding ning is better
外国朋友大概不知道中国人称她为大魔王吧,哈哈~~

The. Greatest have Been deng yaping and wang nan.
If we have to compare players from different eras, compare their w/l results. Cao Yan Hua is the best female TT player ever. At least, until now.
Wang Nan is the best !

Actually Wang Nan is much more successful at World championships. And they are almost of the same age. Wang Nan and Ding Ning are the greatest
Zhang has more titles, and leads much more time World ranking. 4 time champion of Finals. Leads 11:7 against Wang Nan. 29 ITTF titles.
