From what I understood while experimenting with this fellow in creative mode and sometimes switching to survival to test out some theories (since the mod developer refused to give some explanations about his creation on CurseForge), there are several things I noticed:
1. Trying to kill it is essentially a bad idea unless you have totems of undying constantly thrown at you or you summoned a Warden: this creature has like 1500+ hp (I'm not joking, I counted every Warden hit on hard more and it survived 24 hits, each of which dealt 45 damage, according to the Wiki), so either you're stupid to fight it or... you have other mods like Weapons of Miracles and Epic Fight combined which'll give you a small chance of survival if everything is enchanted to the max);
2. As shown in 4:25, it disappears, leaving the player with blindness and possible heart attack. It only happens during the day. I tried to fight it when I summoned it in the day, and all it did was run away as a coward, because... I dunno, creepy effect or something like that. Pretty underwhelming, but at least safe to look at from the distance. Hell, you can even get close to it, all it'll do is scare the hell out of you
3. Addition to the first point: when this piece of mutant changed its pose from walking to crawling, it *regenerated* its HP to max. When I first tried to kill it off with the Warden, it tanked 20 more hits, which at first made me believe it has around 2,5k HP. Thankfully, it didn't, but instead it is practically immortal, unless you aren't in an open space, which lowers you chances of survival even more, since this heinous creature won't regenerate, of course, but you'll die much quicker than if you were in a cave;
4. All projectiles don't do shit to him. I tried to hit it with a lightning and it didn't take any damage at all! In one of the videos the guy tried to snipe him with a bow and the arrow ricochetted out of his body
So, realistically speaking, the only legit way to actually kill this Anomaly is to make a very deep trap from which it won't be able to escape or outright nuke him in said trap. Otherwise, it'll kill you. There are actually more things to come, since I originally wanted to fight this guy with several mods, but yeah
Dayum, I did not know he was practically invincible LOL. To think this guy is at least 10x stronger than the Warden...
@@Lord0wnage still died to one Warden though. The damage difference was too much of a game-changer. That's why I specified that unless you have a summoned Warden, you'll die. But yeah, this guy is a force to be reckoned with

Honestly, the mod is still pretty new and has some bugs to it. I think the developer is working on fixing them so that issues like that don't happen. Best thing I can say is to leave a comment on the creator's mod on CurseForge with your problem :)

ive played this mod a couple of times in the past few days and i dont know if its bugged or something? but every time i play it all the anomaly does is do that jumpscare dark screen thing and leaves these weird black ghosts everywhere. and he doesnt even attack. i have never once seen him shapeshift into that tall creature and attack me
You know to be completely honest, he often left those weird polygon-like phantom things everywhere too. I was able to get rid of them by sleeping the night away. I also had a part, which I did not include in the video, where I had like 20 of them surround my house. (If you look closely around the time I first see the Anomaly, there is a Polygon-like ghost on the left side of the screen)
I think it's because the mod is practically brand new and is still riddled with bugs. With time I think the mod will be perfected and those issues with subside. It has a lot of potential imo

He sometimes takes a little while to spawn in. Once you see him for the first time, he'll start to appear more frequently. Until you find him he kind of just spawns near you and watches you.
Hello Ownage, how did you disable those annoying figures can you tell?
If you're talking about the polygon things that showed up occasionally, sleeping does the trick usually. The mod is still new so there's still some bugs that the creator will have to work out in the future.

install insanity shader its a extra spooky halloween shader its not that demanding on your system like complementary shaders
That's true, I did use this shader for my previous horror series with my friend. It makes everything INSANELY dark at night.

@@Lord0wnage oh wait i forgot something if the anomaly was ported to fabric you could have used iris + sodium these 2 combos will increase your low fps to 80+ fps but yeah i get that forge is more flexable for mods like this one tho i think there was a few other game fixes that work with forge to fix the chunk loading times and make the game more smooth

idk how yall get him to spawn I've spent 2 irl hours and 10-15 in game days and haven't got him to spawn
You have to find him for the first time, he generally spawns around you and watches from a distance. Once you spot him he'll start to appear more. If you sleep, it makes him get even more upset and he'll spawn more often from what I understand.
@@Lord0wnage yeah I did that and I’ve slept 8 out of the 10 days and on the 9th day the black ghost things started to follow me around but I could never get him to spawn in that form

I cant get the mod to work theres just a black diamond shape entity that im assuming is the anomaly not laoding right. Either that or 50 of them spawn in. I've tried both 1.20 and 1.19 version does anyone know how to fix this?
I'll be completely transparent, I had that issue a lot in my recording too. If you look at the left side of the screen when I encounter the Anomaly for the first time, there's one of those black diamond thingies sitting there. I also had the issue where 20+ spawn in but I just cut those segments out of the video.
The mod is still relatively new so I think that the developer will work out those bugs in the future :)

@@jardani6442 Yeah it's normal. I saw another CZcamsr who made a video on it today, it looked like he had around 20-30 standing outside of his base at one point LOL. So the mod definitely has some bugs at the moment.

Yeah, I fully understand that. My horror videos are typically 9-20 minutes long with one my most recent ones being 30 minutes long. It's hard for me to choose the "right" amount of a time for a video sometimes.
