The performance of Ty Burrel in this alone made me wanna watch the movie again. Its hilarious!

It's sad that most credits goes to the voice actors while the hard work is done by the designers, animators, musicians and crews for the rest of details.
iMap Abdou this is a stupid comment because actors put a lot of work into movies. It’s not just reading off the list it’s about the expressions you use and how it is. Plus these are voice actors not actors so I guess in a way for voice actors it’s not that hard but it’s still pretty hard.

Wow! Thomas Newman was great in making music to "Finding Dory" as he did 13 years ago with "Finding Nemo"! I felt every moment thanks to his compositions and beautiful animation! What a hard and stunning job:)
Animating is hard :/
Yeah but if you keep working hard and have a creative imagination and know what your doing an know how to draw. It won't be as hard.
And don't get me started on lip-sync, I feel like I could learn to animate but to make the characters lip-sync…

That's him officer lip syncing is the least of your worries in 3d animation. In stop motion animation it could be but still not as much.

As an animator its very nice to see behind the scenes but the video cuts so fast... I want to actually watch them work. Right when I'm like ' oooo I wanna see what he does with the graph editor...'CUT or that lip sync looks great wonder what they are going to adjust...'CUT

My story:
I was watching finding Nemo in 2014 and I thought "hmmm....Dory sounds like...Ellen!" So I watched on CZcams the voice actors and yup, it was Ellen. I felt like the most amazing kid in the world for noticing it!
Since I love like art and designing and stuff like this.. I think this is really interesting and it would be cool to a an animator!!!

Yeah. They let the actors dictate the timing of their delivery, and the animators work according to that.

They use Maya for modeling and UV unwrapping. Then they animate it with their own software, and then they use renderman to render. Maya costs 3000$ and I'm pretty sure renderman costs a lot too, so I would recommend using blender because it's free. Both blender and Maya can actually render on their own but renderman just has much more options.
