    Cool, but inaccurate as the Delorean’s front wheels are supposed to be smaller than the rear wheels. Perhaps it was necessary to make the wheels the same size for balance.

    Was ready to drop £400 on one of these until I found out you can only have it hovering over the magnetic base for 15 minutes at a time before you start burning out the base's electrics and possibly start a fire.

      Where did you hear this? I haven’t heard this and only have mine on occasionally, however there are people that say they have theirs on 24/7

    He said it's not as good in detail as the hot toys and another one, but these others levitates like this one?

  • @peteq1972

    Now you need a mini string of triangular coloured flags and a fan blowing at it in hover mode :) it might keep the lighting cooler. Another plus side it's also a cool lamp

    Dont use the 15 volt power supply that's included? Its dangerous and could cause a fire. At 15 volts the levitating mount overheats.
    Use a variable power supply that goes up to 13.5 volts. Then can levitate all day and everyday and runs miles cooler than the 15volt supply included.

    Hi just wondering if you can help me I have purchased the levitating DeLorean obviously I know it's not coming with the UK plug adaptor would you know which would be the best to purchase for the item

  • @denodan
    @denodan Před 4 lety

    Think the voltage is to high on the power supply. Its mismatched. Running mine at 13.5 volts and base runs a lot cooler and floats at 13.5 volts. At 15 volts the levitaring stand runs to hot. Had mine shut off completely. Have had mine running 6 hours at 13.5 volts and runs much cooler. Their voltage is to high.

    Hi, can you leave it plugged in 24/7 ?
    Thank You

    • @GadgetGame-yz2dn
      @GadgetGame-yz2dn  Před 4 lety +1

      No I wouldn’t recommend leaving it on all the time.

    • @vincenzomarabotto
      @vincenzomarabotto Před 4 lety +2

      GadgetGame2017 I have it plugged in for the past month and the base is not hot at all.
      I saw one guy got it for 2 years floating and no problems at all.

    • @GadgetGame-yz2dn
      @GadgetGame-yz2dn  Před 4 lety +1

      I’m not saying you can’t, I would just be concerned that a knock or power cut would cause it to crash down and do some damage.

    • @vincenzomarabotto
      @vincenzomarabotto Před 4 lety +1

      GadgetGame2017 it happened to me like 5-6 times already that the power got cut out.
      All it happens, it just sticks together and that’s it, no problem no worries😉

    I just got mine and having an issue getting the delorean to light up on the magnetic base but it lights up fine on the display. Yes, I tapped the switch on the magnetic base. No luck. Any ideas??

    • @GadgetGame-yz2dn
      @GadgetGame-yz2dn  Před 5 lety

      Sounds like it’s a problem with the magnetic base, get in contact with store@kids-logic.com Lisa there should be able to help you.

    Got this one and can't get it to actually levitate...
    Any tips to get it right ?
    Whether I use the support or not, the light would work, but levitation parameters seems off...

    • @GadgetGame-yz2dn
      @GadgetGame-yz2dn  Před 4 lety

      Do it by hand, the balance point is slightly towards the back of the car not dead centre. You will feel when it is in the “sweet spot”, but do not let go until you’re sure it’s balance as it will crash down onto the base very heavily

    Can you just leave it floating? I send a vid on CZcams that a guy has it floating for 2 yrs with no issues

    • @GadgetGame-yz2dn
      @GadgetGame-yz2dn  Před 4 lety

      Yes you can, I just choose not to

    • @ringod123
      @ringod123 Před 4 lety

      NO! You definitely can not leave it floating, they even advise you to only have it floating when you are in the room with it and for no longer than 15-20 minutes as you can severely damage the magnetic base and even make it catch fire.

  • @Nhut1984
    @Nhut1984 Před 4 lety

    do you keep it levitating 24/7? I want to buy one for display but seen in their instructions it states that you shouldn't leave it on overnight. Just want to know if you have it levitating continuously and if it has held up having it on all the time?
