The windows are lovely and the oval picture reminds me of similar one I used to do in the 1970s so definitely mid century modern ! Dried and pressed flowers went out of fashion but seem to be coming back in again what goes around comes around ❤😊

Absolutely love this! I have resisted buying windows, not anymore! Soon as you showed galvanized paper for the back, my eye saw stripes of a flag. Maybe put a flat rusty, crusty star in the corner and you can reverse your window for independence day!❤ it!

The last project really brought back memories of the 70's dried flowers. And in the 80's I gathered wild flowers, reeds, & weeds to make lavish bouquets with feathers also and sold them.

Great tip regarding using a ball of plastic wrap for the decoupage application. Nice.
I keep wanting to try a faux mercury glass look. Think it’s spraying a mist of water onto the glass then the “ mirror” finish spray paint then some black paint

I live in Pensacola so there's not to many antique stores to buy old windows. It's a pain ( no pun intended 😂) because they are so overpriced. I was a day late to great estate sale. Which I heard that some lady who has a retail both bought every one.Broke my heart because I don't feel like paying hundreds for a old window. So I discovered to make my own. And I use decorative molds and small trim. I also made a window and used chicken wire instead of glass and clothes pins to hold pictures.

Love those old windows. Been looking several years for a couple of them. They are definitely hard to find. It’s absolutely gorgeous! I love using dried flowers in my projects. I redone a set of lamps a few years back. And put dried flowers on the inside globe part and they turned out beautiful. Love the mirror as well. It is just a beautiful piece. It’s a masterpiece , that’s for sure! Just lovely!

There is something in the air - have had that all summer. The smoke from Canada fires? Don’t know. The closer to the ocean or in a very air conditioned space ie: a grocery store my congestion and laringiits goes away.
Beautiful we loved all three windows. When I look at old windows and the views my wife does with them and what you've done on tonight's episode, I am reminded of a story I heard years ago. It's called The Hospital Window it's a short story with a powerful impact. ❤
