Thanks, Glad you liked the Vid! Both the YFZ450 and the TRX450r are running 21x12x8 haulers on the rear. They hook up a lot better than most sand tires and offer more an element of extra suspension due to the large side wall. They do like to go straight and turning and spraying takes a little extra effort, but all in all they offer a real smooth ride and a quick positive hook up in the sand!
Loved this video when it first dropped. Back for more 10+ years later. The BEST Dunes/ATV video I've ever seen was DUNE APOCALYPSE ONE but it's missing now. (I assume for musical copyright issues)
But that was the BEST editing I've ever seen! Videos timed so machines hit jumps and bumps to the music rythm, dramatic pauses, light flashes at key times with action and beat drops all timed together.
(I'm a drummer so it stood out to me and I assume it took a LOT of effort with the technology from that far back.
Just wanted to give you fresh kudos as 2020 is about to hit.

Thanks! that i-shock setup is great, my front end just soaks everything up but I need a rear shock for sure!! once I get my bike back together and the frame powder coated then we will be seein you out there!

Thank you.. For our Glamis video we are planning on making it more of a video segment. It will be more fluid, easier to follow, and less choppy editing. It will probably be a month before we are done with it cause our trip for Glamis is the 12th of december. Thank you for your input!

@davidmishchuk Yeah the winchester bay dunes are our dunes of choice on the coast, but the christmas valley sand dunes in central oregon are our favorite dunes in oregon. That's great to hear that you want to start editing, I look forward to see your first video!
Well we are planning on going to Glamis this year. We should meet up and ride in Glamis! Good luck with the Baja 250, those races are very demanding on the body! Endurance is key I hear!

Nice Video, i'm not a big rock fan honestly but you did a great job editting that with video clips. I could use the landings and less chroma key coloring, but hey it's better then what i do. I can't get anyone to help shoot video.
I have riden in Florence, OR a couple times, but i live in Vegas so I have started hitting the Dumont Dunes, CA. Dunes are HUGE. Good place for me to work on my jumps.

No, we are in college, but we all wish our high school would have had a racing team! We are just recreational riders that mainly ride the dunes! The spartan part of our name is from our high school mascot that we had in high school though.
As always, I love the intro to your vids.. And very nice jumps! That red Honda 450 with bigger rear tires.. Are those 22's or 23's? How do they slide being so tall with an 8" rim? Seems like the tire would roll over a bit when roosting the hills like y'all do.

You guys deserve more than 559 followers. Your editing is so badass!! What software do you guys use for the fast motion, slow motion transitions on some of the clips?! I was wanting to start doing edits and you guys make the best!

We have not, but we have heard good things about them. They are supposed to resemble the performance of the ITP Sand Stars. They track straight, but allow you to turn easily without demanding much effort, plus light weight.

@diypunx The reason the landings are cut off a little is to go better with the speed of the song and also to mix up from the generic riding video. This one was just a test of this type of edit. The newest video that we have on our channel plays out the landings more.. you might like that one better, check it out..

This whole video revolves around driving to the top of a sand hill and spinning a bunch of sand in the air.
Oh it also shows some kid doing a little wheelie up a trail about 15 times.
I kept watching in hopes of it getting better. It did not.

@funnykidinthewoods Anyone can do it.. We are just average joe's that love the sport we have been riding since we were all 10 years old and have just slowly progressed over the years. With some practice and dedication everything that we do is easy! Do you ride?
