I didn't know Factory also signed Kyle. That would have saved them for sure. They pinned all their hopes on a couple of bands, but it takes probably more than that.
That remix at the end was pure gold. Looking forward to buying the CDs.

Tony always talked about the concept of Praxis - which was something like ‘you do something because you want to do it, and it’s in the act of doing that thing that you find out WHY you did it ‘ - signing the Mondays was his best example of that in my opinion.

25-30 years ago i lived on and off in whalley range (mayfield ave), crumpsall, etc. - no way on god's green earth would i recognise manchester now. Leeds is similar - rode through it recently - unbelievable.
John Robb such a nice person, bumped into him a while ago I think it was by Victoria in manchester, asked for a photo which he didn't mind at all and we chewed the fat about the state of music today lol
