The one thing I learned about them is that they bypass the BRP settings on max throttle at high speeds, which is what I need for my spyder. But they don't make it for my year spyder. I filmed a whole video about it. I'll release it at some point.

For me the Ryker was never intended for big power numbers or break neck speeds. Something like the power commander is cool but I don't think full price $300 cool. I ride my Ryker like how you described, just chill and enjoy. Plus I ain't got the gas money for racing LOL.

I agree with you $300 is a lot for that unit even the controllers for cars are cheaper. Plus, if it's that twitchy if you're not paying attention it could throw you off or cause your Ryker to jump and run into something. Really who wants to be the first one into the intersection as the car that failed to stop for the light goes barreling through. My Rally is fast enough and being that it is lighter than a car I can still catch up and pass.
We share a lot of the same opinion for sure, mostly cuz I think my 600 has a good enough throttle response for my regular use. ..and I didn't know they were cheaper on cars.. 🤔. Thanks for sharing your input on here for us, Ron! ✌️💯🐭
@@ThrillMouseMoto I say put on what gives you enjoyment... for me with my Ryker I look at the cost of the product and does it make sense to add things where your accessories are adding more than your bike is worth... I guess I've outgrown the stage where I have to have the latest and greatest. However, as to ride comfort with seat and handlebars and minor upgrades to the suspension ie. link pins that's all the bike really needs... okay maybe an additional brake light or two... but overall it will get you down the road... 🥳

I read where the Pedal Commander eliminates that annoying clunk when you roll on the throttle from a complete stop. Can you verify this claim? Thanks.
I haven't noticed that yet, but I'll definitely put it to the test when I get my Ryker back from the shop. I removed it before I put my Ryker in, ✌️💯🐭
Can you feather the throttle when it's turned up or is it basically at full throttle all the time?
That's a nasty injury to the booger picker. Better get that looked at!

Hi brother a had a padel commander and I started having issue with VSS P0222 so I took it off no more issue.

@@ThrillMouseMoto Yea I got in contact with Bill Ramseyer told him my story he did some research I find out that does pedal commander it just interferes with to much power and that what's bring the P00222 code so I took it off I'm planning on purchasing the dynojet instead. Hey i changed my muffler and now my gas doesn't last long at all,I have it in echo mode is this normal once you change your exhaust
I didn't have a difference in my Rykers fuel economy. I haven't heard of anyone experiencing that issue either. What exhaust did you decide on for your Ryker?
been watching your videos for a while and appreciate all the 🔥 content. not to get off topic, what are your thoughts on folks who want to buy a ryker but don't have a garage. I see you have the cover for yours, would you recommend buying if you dont have garage? I'm in the bay area CA. so weather is mostly pretty good.
I leave mine outside here in TX most of the time. I DO have a garage, but I am one of those rare people who put cars in it. Just be aware that things will fade faster in the sun.

Like Kevin, Ryan and I keep ours outside but with covers on them. That's just to keep the sun off them and keep people from sitting on them 👍

$50 for a mount is stupid on a $299 unit!

In real time I have the Carbon Series by RLS on my 600, but I just got a new one from RLS to install called "Controlled Kaos" ...🤫
Love the videos you make! Your the reason I ended up with the 600 and not 900. Question tho? What’s the best sounding exhaust on the 600 you’ve tried out? Doesn’t have to be the loudest but best sounding?

What mount did you use
I used a cheap $18 phone holder designed for 7/8" handlebars from eBay. Worked perfect! 👌. Thanks for watching, Greg! ✌️💯🐭

Does this make up for not having a sport mode?
It might feel like it to the rider, but it should still be different. I believe the sport mode on the Ryker models that have it also adjust the traction control. This device only adjusts the throttle response

@@geecode1098 I've had that one on for a couple thousand miles, one of my favorites. I didn't notice a difference in fuel economy. ..I never thought that the fuel economy on the Ryker was that great in the first place tho, 😅

I'm not a fan at all...it just makes the throttle more twitchy...no extra power or anything, I much prefer a more controlled stock throttle. What's wrong with twisting the throttle a bit faster yourself? 🤔
Haha, we share most the same opinion it sounds like, ✌️😅. ..But it definitely turns the throttle faster than I could without it. 👍 ..It's just that I don't always want to do that enough to buy one really. IMO
Not worth the money in my opinion. Yeah, looks like fun, just cost to much. If someone gave it to me or paid less than half for it, yeah, I would rock it. But if I wanted to take off fast, just pin the throttle fast. Would be good if you did like 1/4 mile racing or something. Would shave a little bit of time.

I hate touchy throttle... I Ride in Eco Off mode...
