It's beautiful. I love the design.
And how cool to have worked on your father's window!
Great window! I love the woodpecker! So, fairly easy. You just replaced the glass and reused the lead. You're right, doesn't even look like it was broken. Good thing you still had some of that glass left. 🙂
Nothing tricky just a little time consuming and you never really know how long it's going to take until you get your hands on it in the workshop. Sometimes they can be super quick and easy and others can take twice as long 💜💛💜
Really lovely restoration. Must have been fun to get to retouch your dad's work. Great luck to even still have the same glass on hand. Thanks for sharing!
Do you not use whiting on your cement? I never see you add it in your videos.
I've been doing stain glass for a year now in canada.. and just recently started following you.. Could you let me know how you got those pre-fabricated strips.. It saves time, and it makes your work look so clean..please and thanks..
Which prefabricated strips do you mean buddy. Are you talking about the lead came? 💜
@LightLeadedDesigns yes..but I see they are already fabricated like this, thanks...
I love seeing things being repaired. There isn't enough of make do and mend. Well done looking after your dad's hard work 👍
Damn straight I hate how things are thrown away!
My passion is buying antique windows that are broken, this video was a joy to watch. Thank you!
