"Unknown sounds" is a nautical reference, sounds are another sea ports where the water is calm (like Puget Sound, Seattle) -In his song Change he says "I don't like it when I drift from the safe zone". AND the word sound is used to describe the process of determining the depth of water in a tank or under a ship. NF doesn't know how deep the water he is drifting into.
If i were to take a guess i would say NF's new album will have a global travel theme. I know that is super broad. All i know is that im super excited to see where/what he focuses in on, goes with it.

Sooo recent thoughts after watching HOPE... Is this song from Hopes point of view? Maybe mixed with Nate's point of view.... And then Nate is praying to God at the end- and Hope mentions "I heard youve been praying for my soul" (something like that)
Think about it... Especially when he says " watching the world go round, listening to unfamiliar feelings and unknown sounds" (because the world is so negative and devoid of a lot of hope). And when he says "I've been watching you,how your talking to yourself is rude"... Etc.
