Just listen to your beats in the car/ phone and in different types of speakers and compare it to music u like listening to from established artists and you can train your ear
hey thanks man this video is really helpful, I don't have fl studios, I had to sell my pc last year since I went homeless, I'm better now and I'm in an apartment, I even have a shitty laptop now that runs this one really minimal daw named "LMMS" still making the best of my situation and videos like these help, hopefully one day I can get a real desktop like I had before so I can use FL Studios but this will work for now

I have a question, if I want to slide my one-shots it doesnt work unless I have a note that isnt a slider underneath it. Is that a mistake in settings or am I doing something wrong. It might be a bit late and I may not get an answer but at least I tried.
how do you install the Midi Chord Templates into Fl Studios? I have your drum kits downloaded but the file does not appear when I look in file settings through FL Studios.

Why not buy a keyboard and make what it is you like.. you record a track then build on it. Loops have put people into this melodic masturbation mode where they aren't satisfied with their own beginnings and can't hear the rest of the beat
FL Studio has scale highlighting so you don't have to use ghost notes. Top left arrow >View>Scale Highlighting. Has all the scales.

There are 500 different scales though which makes it confusing af for me 😢

You dont need to learn any intrument
If you can develop an ear for the sound it doesnt matter, but teaching myself a few songs on piano helped me find that ear

You dont need to make an "advanced" melody. Some of the most fire beats are extremely simple. Just make what you think sounds good.

Omnisphere drip or rc-20 is not a cheatcode, in this case you are the cheatcode with you techniques
