flew from Mphs to LA with the bodacious Connie Boom to see em at The Coach House, their home turf - some great times

next night we saw Joe & Gary play @ Wharfside -- among their playlist was a cool Donovan oldie, Epistle To Dippy, which was so freaking epic - afterward, Joe said we'd made the night, but of course that went both ways - he also said he'd recently had a heart attack, & I was stunned - wish he'd had better care, & was still with us
