Should’ve had large several uhaul trucks bringing the things to site! No painting should’ve waited to the venue … big failure on the prep stage which makes or breaks events

I feel like if a location is not fit for a clients vision it’s up to the event planner to make that clear during the planning stage. Like say “hey because of all the draping you want it can’t be in a windy location” or whatever the limits are. ESPECIALLY if you take their money. To me when you take payment you are saying you can do this the exact way we discussed it. Also it’s on the event planner to make sure they have a good reliable team and communication.
Bc as a client if I give you x amount of bands the last thing I’m trying to hear is “ oh that’s not my job” “I don’t know” “this person left” etc like HUH you’re literally getting paid to delegate PLAN and organize. The event planner seems very talented but to me she bit off more than she could chew. Don’t accept a job if u can’t handle it.
