I don't understand it. The last serious LTR I had was before cell phones were as common as today and texting wasn't a thing. But the first question I'd ask my girl is why do you have your ex's number in your phone? I don't have ex-gf's numbers saved and if my girl did then that would be a red flag. This is something that goes through my mind at the end of these types of relationships because when you look back at all the things that you’ve done since the beginning of your relationship, and you see that you have done nothing that you were not supposed to, you’re just sitting there, asking yourself, “What did I do to deserve this?”
Word of advice, kings, do not put your full trust in your girl. If you know that she’s loyal, then okay, but if you don’t know for sure, please don’t screw yourselves over like this because I promise you that it will *absolutely destroy* you in the future. If you feel like your girl is doing this to you, and the feeling really bothers you, do not dismiss that feeling as paranoia because that’s when the toxicity comes into your life, which leads to an extremely unhealthy and pessimistic lifestyle.

I disagree. There could be a lot of context to this, mainly, the man could be bad with money. I know a few relationships where the only money they have is the money the wife hid so the husband couldn’t drink it away. If she saved $22k, she’s not spending it on herself or anything. In general, saving money is financially sound.
Also, if the money was earned during the marriage, it doesn’t matter what bank account it’s in, it’s community property (at least in my state).

My best friend's ex wife got remarried the day after their divorce was finalized. He's a good honest and religious man. We all like him. But during the civil part of their divorce her new husband didn't lie under oath about the timeline of their relationship. It came out right then and there in front of the judge and everyone that she lied about everything. When they first got involved she wasn't separated. She didn't hit my friend with a surprise divorce for almost 6 months. New hubby found out he was a side piece and had been violating a Commandment. He also filed for divorce.

If your wife has an affair at work...in writing, let her workplace's HR know that you are afraid she has been sexually harrassed and request that they look into it.
Most companies have rules against workplace affairs. They also often have anonymous tip lines for reporting when rules are broken...and those tips have to be investigated.
That's an interesting idea, but I think it only works if she's a white collar professional. That's the only setting where I've seen concern for workplace relationships. They may ask her if she's been harassed but their involvement will likely end there when she says no.

Companies would like to control this to avoid any hostile workplace issues if the relationship doesn't work out, but IIRC, companies can't control what you do outside of the workplace as long as it is not illegal or against the interests or image of the company. They can however require you to act with your partner the same way you do with your other colleagues at work, meaning no PDAs at work.

If I was going to pursue a military career, I would cut all ties with all women and concentrate on the military. Then, after retirement at 38 or 40, you can pursue your second career and pursue women, if you are still that insane.
I was in the military and encountered good and noble men everyplace I went. I had respect for the men who were loyal to their wives, God, and country. I was in service and I can't tell you how many women I saw cheating as soon as their husbands were deployed. One girl that lived nearby was the most blatant - her husband was in candidate school and his best friend was staying there with her in the room for months. "To keep an eye on her" she said. Haha. One of my good friends had his wife cheating on him, and demanding an "open marriage".
Nope, I didn't have a stable girl while I was in. It was just "date" one for a couple weeks, then she goes down the hall to the next barracks room to date someone else. No need to be sore about it, in a few months it would just be your turn again. Lots of girls are like that.

The most dangerous part of being married young in the military is what those young girls do when you take them far away from home for the first time, away from what their daddies can see, and the ease to do what they want when you're deployed away from home.
I went to the bar once with some fellow soldiers after the duty day was done for some drinks and they pointed out all the military wives who were there while their husbands were on duty or deployed. I went to a club on post one night while TDY to an infantry base for a school. One of the guys with me from that base was telling me he recognized some of the women and could tell me which units were in the field or deployed based on the wives he recognized present at the club. It was quite sad.
We had a couple of guys who's wives ran around with other soldiers while their husbands were away and we talked about them. I later found out my ex-wife was one of them, talk about feeling ashamed. I asked a couple of fellow soldiers why nobody told me when it was happening and the ones I considered truly friends told me it was to protect me, worrying that I might make a permanent and regrettable mistake in the heat of the moment. It took me a little bit of time to accept that they were right, that 25 year old hot-head might be in prison today had they told me about it back then.
If you have a good woman it's just as bad because the separations from your wife and your children are extremely painful.
A similar incident took place in my college recently regarding the lady who made a fake assault claim. There was this girl from my college who wanted some attention and she falsely accused a guy from my grade about groping her. One important thing missing from all these examples of cheating women is the fact that far too many women are far too passive when a man they don't really know pushes them for sex. When I served in the Navy forty years ago, wives and girlfriends (wags) would come out to the clubs in droves every time a battle group went on deployment. The last guy is a total hoax and one of the worst ones the internet has to offer. They "got back together" after, but in reality there wasn't ever cheating to begin with. It was all a stunt to go viral and it is so screwed up that most people don't even remember/realize that it was fake from the very beginning. The worst part about all of it is that the guy is basically human garbage, saying it was worth it to ruin his reputation and make his wife look like a cheater all for the money.
