Vincent Gallo is great, he makes a lot of sense even though his delivery is sometimes too harsh for a lot of people - but honesty is key.
The more I see Gallo films and interviews, the more I wanna have a conversation with the guy. For someone who's viewed as an elite, egocentric arteest, he sure makes a lot of sense.

Vincent Gallo. This man is one of the few honest actors/film producers left. His believability is a rarity in Hollywood films these days. I guess its not just his abilities but the guy is eccentric, erotic, intelligent, funny...I cant get enough of him.
I hadn't heard of Tetro until recently, but I like this contrasting fathers conversation. I deal with a guy at work where he takes it very personally if someone does something better than he does, and it feels like that type of hierarchal personality disorder.
Gallo could stunt double as Wolverine :) He's great!

Saw Tetro last night. Wonderful. Really pulls you into it's world, and Gallo wins you completely over...GOrgeous soudntrack too. Too bad the Kabuki theatre in san francisco is showing this film with the right fourth of the image out of focus. Isn't the year 2009? We're still dealing with this problem....what a joke. All the technology, theatre, projector, lenses, cameras, and the print is out of focus on the right for the whole time....Francis...do something!
