I like that she said Easter egg, true halloween fan right there.
....But to play devil's advocate, I don't think "Easter Egg" is being used accurately here. There were references in the trailer to the original film and the occasional sequel, but Easter Eggs are little tidbits a director or production team hide throughout a film for fans to seek out (the pizza truck that appears in all Pixar films is probably the best example)....thus, the term Easter Egg. They can't really be called Easter Eggs if a reference is relatively obvious (like recreating the shot of Michael rising behind her in the trailer, immediately followed by the original in the 1978 film or Michael pinning a victim to a wall with a knife before admiring his work with his famous head tilt, again a reference to the original).
God, why does this feel like the debate over what constitutes a "blooper?" Sigh....I digress. Ha!

IM SO EXCITED. This is my third time seeing a Halloween movie in theaters and it always has been one of the most fun experiences ever, this movie looks so damn good. Good reaction.

This trailer looks amazing. The soundtrack, the athmophere and the cinematography.. Perfection! This new mask's got to be the most sinister looking yet. That mask has a smirk that is similar to that of the one used in Halloween: Resurrection. When he grabbed Corey by his neck, was a call back to Resurrection, where he grabbed Bill by his neck and shoved his knife into his skull from a top. Also, the tunnel system aswell. That dark, blue hued lighting gives the mask and his overall appearence a creep factor, which was missing from these movies, until Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills came out. Apart from the original movie, this trilogy so far has been the best and I can't wait for Halloween Ends. đȘđ
Fantastic observations. LOVE the lighting and color palette of the sewer system. Gives OG vibes. Blumhouse has easily given us the best of what this franchise has to offer, apart from the original. First part reintroduction, second part blow the fucking doors off, third part emotional conclusion. GET READY đ

Loved this reaction! What i loved i think the most about this trailer is the shot of Myers grabbing Corey! I got a visually looking throwback to Halloween 6! The lighting and all! I cannot wait! Im probably going to cry seeing this trilogy and years of history end! Plus James Jude Courtney is my favorite Michael and to know his role as The Shape possibly ending really bums me out!
DEFINITELY agree with the JJC comment. His work as the Shape is probably my favorite as well. I will have tears in my eyes at the end regardless. I just hope itâs a beautiful ending

Aww, if anyone's sad about Jamie Lee Curtis and her last time playing Laurie Strode, don't worry, kids - we thought the same with "Halloween H20" back in 1998. She's still got some years left in her and they've more than proven it's possible to retcon all previous sequels and expect audiences to overlook most an entire series. If she survives - hell, even if she doesn't! - Laurie Strode's badass enough to kick ass when she's pushing eighty in 2038.
While Iâd typically be inclined to agree, her string of interviews throughout this trilogy has been pretty reassuring. Especially her emotional ones released recently. Sheâs crying in almost every one.
